As an undergraduate at Gardner-Webb University, what started as a summer medical mission trip to Honduras, through Gods very hand and comedic timing, a medical team who never showed, a group of dental students with welcoming arms and many many prayers, a passion for dentistry was ignited. After graduation, Dr. Keels attended the Medical University of South Carolina, receiving his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2006, along with the Award of Excellence in General Dentistry. Dr. Keels returned to his hometown to join and help continue to build one of the leading dental practices in the Upstate. At only 34 years old, Dr. Keels was named one of Greenville Magazines Best and Brightest. Those weeks in Honduras translated into what has become his overarching philosophy in dentistry, Always deliver the highest quality of dental care while forming a life-time relationship with the patient. This philosophy is why Dr. Keels spends countless hours staying on the cutting edge of his profession to ensure his patients have only the very best in treatment.
Dr. Keels and his wife Tara have three sons, Austin, Harrison and Asher, and are rooted in the community they serve. Dr. Keels is an active member of Fellowship Greenville Church and Dental Community Fellowship, a chapter of the Christian Medical and Dental Association. Dr. Keels also provides services at the Greenville and Spartanburg Free Clinic offices and services as the official team dentist for Byrnes High School Rebels. When Dr. Keels is not in the office youll find him with his family spending time outdoors, camping, boating and coaching or volunteering with each of his sons various sports teamsand if its Friday, youll likely find him on a golf course somewhere. Treat others as you want to be treated is more than a catch phrase, it si the philosophy Dr. Keels lives by.

Services provided is ok, but honesty is a problem. They must be honest about the cost we are supposed to pay. Information is somehow kept from us before the treatment, and I had to pay what they demanded later. This is not the way to keep a good business.

I have been a patient at Keels Family & Cosmetic Dentistry for several years, and I highly recommend this office. Sarena always does a great job cleaning my teeth. She is very thorough but with a gentle touch. Dr. Keels does excellent work. I am a former dental assistant myself, so I am picky about whom I trust to do my dental work. I trust Dr. Keels. The entire staff is very nice, friendly and helpful.

Dr Robbie is the absolute best dentist in the business! Sarena is always a pleasure! I'm new to Keels Family Dentist but they treat me like I've been there for years. I would recommend this office to anyone!

They work with you especially if you're scared i have anxiety about going to the dentist and they were the 1st in years to calm me down and get me to come back, and they worked around my schedule. Amazing to leave and not be in pain.

The office is a great place to visit. Everyone was so caring and loving. My family was in a car accident and the team made sure I was okay. Feels like family. Dr. Keels is the best!

Just switched to Keels after moving to Duncan and they're awesome. Super friendly and always smiling. Office has a great vibe and great staff who remembered my name and face after only 1 previous visit. Had some work done today and almost fell asleep several times. Thats how good they are at their job!!! Highly recommended!!!

We have been patients of Dr. Keels since 2005 and have had the best experiences with everyone here. Even after moving 25 minutes away we still make the drive over for such wonderful and caring people. My kids love it when I tell them we have an appointment coming up. They handle scheduling very well and we never wait more than a couple of minutes. We love, love, love this practice. Their chapstick is the best!

Woke up with a tooth ache. New to the area, I didnt have a dentist yet so it was a shot in the dark that in glad i made. I called and made an appointment and within an hour i was being seen. Every bit of my experience was amazing. As someone who is afraid of dentists i can confidently say i will be going back. They took a quick x-ray (opting for a cheaper option since i was unsure if i had insurance at the time) numbed the area around my tooth, and removed my it all in about 15 minutes. I didnt even know my tooth was out until the doc said "all done" The lady at the desk was super helpful. I paid her and even though i had no idea if i had insurance she made multiple phone calls trying to find out if i did. When she discovered i did she called to tell me she refunded the money i had paid already. Amazing office and personnel cannot recommend enough!
