I chose to be a dentist to help people maintain their oral health and, in some cases, change someones life by providing them with a smile they thought they had lost long ago or a smile they never thought they could have.

I appreciate the diversity of patients I see every day. In my dental school interview I was asked how I knew I would be happy as a dentist for an entire career. I replied that I was counting on the individuals on the other end of the teeth I work on to keep my days interesting. That truly has been my experience. In many cases, I come to know my patients, their families, and their lives. Over the past 30 years, I have been very fortunate to meet many amazing people.

Born in Owen Sound, Ontario, I moved to Wilton as a seventh-grader in 1968 and attended Wilton High School. From there, I went on to graduate as a biology major from the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Following graduation, I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 1983. I completed a General Practice Residency at Southbury Training School.

I have three wonderful daughters, Meghan, Brigid, and Hannah, of whom I am very proud. I also have a dog named Marley and a cat named Stoffie. In my free time, I am an avid runner who somehow enjoys marathons and have used them to raise money for charities. I am also an amateur photographer and enjoy playing at the guitar.

For almost 25 years, Ive had the pleasure of working with Dr. Keating to give our patients ideal dental health. While the majority of my time is spent in the clinical setting providing examinations, cleanings, and education, I also assist at the front desk. I enjoy developing a relationship with my patients and observing their oral health improving in part due to the care theyve received from us. When Im not in the office, I enjoy spending leisure time with my family as well as reading and painting.

I serve as a chairside assistant, inventory manager, and lab work manager, but my most important role is making sure our patients have the best experience during their dental visit! Our patients are some of the most interesting people Ive ever met, and getting to know them over the years has been a true pleasure. Dr. Keating has an easygoing personality and makes my job a lot of fun. I really appreciate how caring he is with his patients, and how appreciative he is with our team. At home, I enjoy cooking, reading, and running!

In addition to providing gentle hygiene care, I also help out at the front desk and occasionally assist Dr. Keating with patients procedures. My role as a hygienist has provided me with the opportunity to build wonderful relationships with my patients based on mutual respect and trust. Dr. Keating is a generous and compassionate dentist who cares about his patients as well as his staff. He provides excellent dental care and it shows in our patients beautiful smiles. When Im not in the office, I like to read, bake, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

My career in dentistry began almost 35 years ago, and I was happy to join Dr. Keatings team in 1990. These past 24 years have been great! I enjoy empowering patients with knowledge regarding their dental and overall health. I also value the friendships that I have developed from our interactions over the years. Dr. Keating is a genuinely compassionate and generous person. I feel fortunate to be a part of his team. At home, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, as well as traveling, walking, and reading.

I welcome our patients into the office with a friendly smile, and am here to assist with anything they need in regards to communication and scheduling. Each person I meet is unique, and I am dedicated to creating for them a positive dental experience from the moment they walk in the door. I really appreciate working with Dr. Keating because I think he is an incredible dentist with a great relationship with his patients. I have three wonderful children, Lindsay, Kylie, and Michael. I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my kids play their favorite sports. I love being a mom!
