Dr. Brett Carranza (Dr. Brett) is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist who received his dental degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. Dr. Brett then completed a residency at the Oklahoma University (OU) Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Following his residency at the OU Children’s Hospital, Dr. Brett then completed an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Brett’s postdoctoral training focused on the growth and development of infants, children, teens and patients with special health care needs. He is a member of the Nebraska Dental Association the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Eric Carranza (Dr. Eric) is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Dr. Eric is a graduate of Kearney Catholic High School and native of Kearney. After graduation, Dr. Eric attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln, earning his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Eric then received his dental degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry. He then completed an additional two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry through NYU Lutheran Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. Dr. Eric’s postdoctoral training focused on the growth and development of infants, children, teens and patients with special health care needs. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Eric, his wife Cara, and their daughter Reese are excited to be back in Kearney!

The staff was incredible! My 19 month old never sits still or lets anyone touch her mouth. Through the doctor's calm demeanor and soothing singing, she laid perfectly still while he checked and brushed her teeth! You would have thought she was asleep! She loved getting to pick out a toy, and I'm sure she'll be excited to pull up and see that giraffe again! Thank you for making her first dental impression be so amazing!

Staff was nice, but it was a busy day. a little unsure because they seemed in a hurry and very eager to push costly general anesthesia and didn't discuss other treatment options. i want my kiddo to get the problem fixed but first time anesthesia is a big deal.

Our experience was amazing. This was my daughters first dentist appointment. The dentist did great with her not once did she cry or try to push dentist away. All the staff was very kind. I highly recommend this place for your kiddos

Dr. Brett was gentle and did everything he could to help calm down my child (she hates doctors and doctor offices, so it's not his fault) He was thorough and was so good with her. And she loved getting a prize at the end. Made her feel like she did a great job!

An amazing visit like always! Dr. Eric answered my questions thoroughly. They put my kids beside another so I could keep an easy eye on both, and so happy they are so flexible to schedule my kids appointments for the same times!

This was our first visit with our 18 month old and unfortunately it was not a good experience. When we arrived there was nobody else in the waiting room, but had four children arrive after us and all were called back before us. We waited for 30 minutes in the waiting room trying to entertain an 18 month old.

This is the best dentist office for kids we have ever visited. They make the kids feel comfortable and my kids actually look forward to going to the dentist. They went above and beyond getting us in today either there busy schedule!

I was very nervous for my child's first dentist appointment this morning, but I didn't need to be. The experience at Kearney Pediatric Dentistry was amazing! Everyone was so patient with me and my child, let him explore the new environment, explained everything they were doing and why, and told us what things we were doing right at home and what things we should start doing to ensure excellent dental health! Everyone from the doctors, assistants, and receptionist encouraged questions and took time answering. We will definitely be recommending Kearney Pediatric Dentistry to all of our friends and family!
