Dr. Karina Bartz was born in Brazil and grew up in New Jersey before relocating to Dallas, and then Heath, TX where she now calls home. She earned her Business Management degree from William Paterson University with a minor in Biology, and went on to graduate from New York University College of Dentistry.
After graduation she completed a one-year AEGD residency at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where she refined her clinical skills and learned how to build healthy patient relationships based on trust and compassion. Dr. Bartz is passionate about dentistry, and for her, the best part of the job is interacting with patients and team members every day.
Dr. Bartz is an active member of the Heath community, living with her husband, Kyle, and their three dogsCalvin, Chewy, and Deuce. When shes not in the office helping patients, she loves traveling, painting, reading, yoga, trying new restaurants, decorating, art, and culture.

We have multiple health reasons that makes dental work tricky and stressful. It has been amazing to see each of our family members able to relax and have those needs met. So appreciate all the staff and the encouragement!

I can't say enough about how wonderful Dr Bartz & her staff are! Dr Bartz explains procedures needed in detail and if you don't understand, ask again, she has patience & makes sure her patients do not have any questions. Dr Bartz is also kind, gentle & she always wants to make sure you are comfortable during the procedure. She has a great personality and makes me laugh! Her assistant, Candace is so friendly and wonderful at what she does! And Melissa is nice and very helpful in sitting up appointments and answering your questions! What a GREAT Team, and I should know, I've had a lot of dental work done at KB Dental! THANK YOU for opening in Heath!

I highly recommend KBDental. I love the way I am treated...always with excellent care & concern for my comfort, professionalism and done in a timely manner. Dr Bartz and her whole staff were lovingly attending to me as a patient.

I'm new to the area and did a fair amount of research looking for a new dentist. KB dental quickly sorted to the top of my list. Scheduling an appointment, the new patient paperwork, and the actual visit were all easy and painless. The office is in a convenient location with plenty of parking and it was super easy to find. Dr. Bartz and her team were friendly and welcoming. They were thorough and took time to explain things and answer my questions. KB Dental lived up to their five star rating on Google and here's one more for their collection.

The People, Process & Professionalism made for a wonderful experience all around! I had broken a tooth & was headed out of town. This was my first time in and they scheduled me in right away, made me feel welcome, and guided me through the details. My wife & I are grateful to find such high touch and competent care so close to home.

Most pleasant experience at a dentist's office in my life. Dr. Bartz was extremely thorough, informative, and kind. Her assistant, Candace, was friendly, patient, and overall wonderful. I no longer hate going to the dentist. I have now had 2 appointments for fillings and 1 for wisdom tooth extractions. When getting the fillings, I was totally relaxed; I am normally tensed up the whole time. Dr. Bartz is wonderful and Candace was very calming. I love how I got to pick whatever I wanted to watch on Netflix and the headphones made it extra fabulous. I actually looked forward to my second appointment. Dr. Pope did a great job with my wisdom teeth extractions. It was fast and painless. Even the healing process was better than when I had gotten my others out.

Dr. Bartz is Awesome!!! I'm terrified of going to the dentist and she has made me feel so comfortable every time I need work done. She is very sweet and thorough and makes me actually feel excited to go to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr. Bartz and her staff.

Excellent and clean facility with very attentive staff. The dentist was very considerate of my tooth sensitivity and went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. It is a very new and state of the art facility. The xrays were quick, painless (they didn't cheap out on the disposable protectors for the Xray plates that are always stiff and pokey) and there are TVs mounted on the ceilings with headphones to allow for distraction. She took the time to trouble shoot my dental problems with me taking into account all of the inconvenient variables to come up with a solution that worked for me, even if she didn't make any money off of it. I am very happy that I found KB dental and will have my husband use her in the future as well.

Dr. Bartz and her staff are amazing. Every time myself and my family visits her practice we are always greeted with a friendly smile and professionalism. I've been to many dentists and always dreaded going until I discovered KB Dental. They make you feel comfortable and make it a very pleasant and comfortable experience. I don't recommend this place of business for dental services! I made a general cleaning appointment for my husband and when he went they tried to rack up all kinds of dental work to run up a heavy dental bill. They asked him to pay a fee upfront even though we have double coverage, they insisted the fee would be returned once they billed our insurance. Come to find out they billed our insurance incorrectly for a deep cleaning when I specifically made an appointment for a basic cleaning. They seem to be dishonest and pocket gougers. Use them at your own risk. I had an appointment with them as well, but I canceled after my husband's experience. Dishonesty is the worst customer service a business can give.
