Dr. Segelman, a Boston native, received his D.M.D degree, Cum Laude from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and holds a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Education from Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine, Postgraduate Division, and Advanced Education Program in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He also holds two additional Master of Science degrees from Harvard University in both the Public Health field of Epidemiology and in the business field of Health Care Management.Dr. Segelman has served Extramural Fellowships from the National Institutes of Health as Clinical Fellow in Oral Surgery (Oral Cancer) at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine and Research Fellow in Dental Administration, Oral Health Policy & Epidemiology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomat of both the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Board of Oral Medicine.

He is licensed to practice Dentistry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Florida. He is a Certified Dental Consultant for the dental benefits industry by the American Association of Dental Consultants.

Dr. Segelman was in the private practice of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Boston, as well as performing research and academic teaching at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was Assistant Clinical Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. From 1997 to 2003 he was the Dental Director, Dental Operations and Policy, at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts.

Dr. Segelman moved to Florida and joined the practice in 2004. Dr. Segelmans unique skill sets allows him the ability to provide exceptional clinical surgical judgment and care, as well as a background of medical and dental insurance industry experience that allows him to be an exceptional advocate for patients coordinating issues of insurance predeterminations, and appeals.Dr. Segelman practices with Dr. Broumand in a Team approach, sharing patient care responsibilities affording our patients the benefits of 38 years of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery practices experience, as well as the latest technical advancements and clinical skills of the 21st century.

Dr. J. Michael Digney was born in New Jersey, and moved to Boca Raton as a child. He graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in Ft. Lauderdale, and received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Stetson University. After completion of his undergraduate studies, he earned his dental degree from the Georgetown University School of Dentistry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Following dental school, Dr. Digney completed a one-year internship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, and his four-year residency at the University of Florida Health Science Center Jacksonville. During his tenure as Chief Resident, Dr. Digney participated in a two-week mission trip to Ometepec, Mexico which concentrated on the surgical repair of cleft lips and palates.

Upon completion of his residency training, Dr. Digney practiced briefly in Ft. Lauderdale, and subsequently established his solo private practice in Boynton Beach in 1991. He secured his board certification status in 1993 becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He maintained his private practice for 25 years in western Boynton Beach. During that time Dr. Digney was an Attending Surgeon in the Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Delray Medical, where he treated countless patients suffering major maxillofacial and mandibular injuries.

His main professional interests are in the management of impacted third molars, Oral Pathology, and the development of patient education materials related to oral surgery. His proudest positions however have been that of husband to Mary, his wife of 39 years, and father to his sons, Jack and Matthew. Dr. Digney enjoys offshore sport fishing, which has been a passion of his since his days working on the fishing boats out of Hillsboro Inlet in Pompano Beach during his high school and college years.
