Dr. Kaur received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, CA in 2011. After finishing school she worked as an associate in Sacramento for two years, before opening her own office in Pine Grove CA in 2012. She is committed to learn all the new advancements in Dentistry. She has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in different phases of dentistry.
Dr. Kaur has great passion for Dentistry. Her goal is to help her patients overcome their fear and anxiety of going to a Dentist. She believes that by using modern equipment and techniques, dental procedures are not painful anymore.
Dr. Scott Snyder grew up in California, attended school in Lafayette and graduated from the University of California at Berkeley. There, he majored in anthropology, studying bones and the evolution of the human species. He then attended and graduated from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, further pursuing his passion for bone and teeth.
Bringing education and experience to his Sacramento dental practice, Dr. Snyder is also a member of the forensic committee of local dental society. He is affiliated with the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.
Dr. Furmanek was born and raised in Roseville, CA and graduated from Granite Bay High School. His love for the greater Sacramento area prompted him to stay close to home and earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior at the University of California, Davis. After graduation, he moved to New York City where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University, College of Dental Medicine. Graduating near the top of his class, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society while also earning the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award and the Exemplary Professional Conduct Award from the New York Academy of Dentistry.
After graduating from dental school he stayed on the east coast to pursue advanced training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital, perennially considered one of the best in the nation. He learned from experts in dental implantology, orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate, and maxillofacial pathology and trauma. While at Columbia University he also obtained a medical degree, completed an internship in General Surgery, and received five months of advance general anesthesia training. During his final year he served as Chief Resident in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Although Dr. Furmanek has gained a large breadth of medical and dental knowledge, his greatest interest lies in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, maxillofacial pathology, corrective jaw surgery, obstructive sleep apnea, and the temporomandibular joint.
Dr. Furmanek takes pride in delivering patient-centered care with a gentle touch, empathy, and humility. Together with his excellent surgical skills and compassionate chairside manner, he is beyond excited to serve patients throughout the greater Sacramento area.

Another pleasant appointment. My last cleaning Laurie noticed a sore that I couldn't feel, so they wanted to check again in a month to make sure it healed. That's what I was in for yesterday. It's healed, so nothing to be concerned about...but it makes me feel like she's not just going through the motions, I feel taken care of. My favorite dentist and staff Ive ever been too. I've been coming here for several years now. I started here because reviews said it is a family-like atmosphere, and that is what I experience. Also, I don't feel pressured about work that is recommended. I need a couple crowns, but it is not presently urgent, so Dr. Kaur is flexible, taking my insurance into account. Also, they clearly explain why the work needs to be done (even showing me pictures). I trust them, so it's not really necessary, but I do appreciate it, and it maintains my confidence. One concern I had before my first appointment was whether a dentist in such a small town would be up to date with technology. My first appointment laid that concern to rest.

Dr. Kaur not only took care of my loose inplant crown, but saved me from having to deal with another dental office, and perhaps drive to Sacramento or further with no guarantees. She was informative about the worse case scenario but her gental touch gave me the best case scenario. Thank you for being one of the best dentist I've ever had.

I had a dental emergency, my veneer popped off a front tooth. They squeezed me in the next morning as they were very booked. They take care if their patients well. Dr Kaur was great, very professional, had the veneer cleaned well and on in a very short time and perfectly, too. The staff was friendly and decreased my anxiety. I highly recommend this dental group.

We were so happy with our experience at Kaur Family Dentistry. Everyone was so friendly. The front desk staff were happy and easy to talk to. The hygienists were very gentle and Dr. Kaur was also gentle . No up sale like some other groups! We have found our dental group!!

Best experience with a dental practice ever! Claudette at the front desk is wonderful, kind, patient and helpful - and that also goes to members of her front desk team. From just calling to walking in, we felt calm and cared for. Things such as payments /insurance/finding a specialist were done for us simply, quickly and without issue which is not something you find at just any dental practice, at least I haven't. They worked hard to get my husband in to see the oral surgeon, Dr. Swann, that very day! He and his staff were wonderful as well! While I personally have yet to meet Dr. Kaur, she appeared to be very nice and professional and my husband felt the same ease and comfort from her as we both did about the practice as a whole. I havent been to a dentist in years. I moved up country 4 years ago about the same time my life-long dentist and neighbor retired. I called around and had been met with unhelpful/boarderline hostility when it came to issues like insurance, payments and emergency care but this practice was the exact opposite of the others in Pioneer & otger surrounding towns. I am actually "somewhat" (it is always kinda scary going to any dentist IMO - so really "very") much looking forward to seeing Dr. Kaur myself in the near future! PThe pricing is extremely reasonable, they have a great comprehensive program called the Smile Program that covers the majority of your regular and emergency visits for $209/yr and they are willing to work with Care Credit which makes paying in installments easy and possible. Overall Id give them 10 stars and want to remain with Pine Grove Family Dentistry for as long they will let me! LOL! :)
