Dr. Warren Kaufman was born and raised in New York and graduated from the State University of Albany with degrees in English and Biology. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he attended Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1977. After completion of his doctoral studies, he started practicing dentistry in Culver City in 1978 and has been on the same block on Washington Blvd. ever since!
Dr. Matt was born and raised in Los Angeles. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, graduating Magna cum Laude.
Dr. Warren takes pride in his dedication to lifelong learning, and has been involved in postgraduate continuing dental education for his entire career. For the past 7 years, Dr. Warren mentors and instructs fellow dentist while on the clinical teaching faculty of the Comprehensive Esthetic and Restorative Dental Residency at Esthetic Professionals in Tarzana, CA.
Dr. Warren is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Western Dental Society, and Alpha Omega dental fraternity. He has been recognized numerous times as the Best Dentist in Culver City, and continues to see new and established patients with his son, Matt, in their Culver City practice.
Dr. Matt Kaufman was born and raised in Los Angeles. Among the awards he has received include the Academic Award from the Alpha Omega dental fraternity, the Certificate of Merit from the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and individual Awards of Excellence from the endodontics department, fixed prosthodontics department, periodontics department, oral medicine and facial pain department, and department of public health and dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Matt resides in Playa Del Rey with his wife Lauren, his dog, Comet, and his cat, Stormy. Matt and his wife are very involved with Camp Cocker Rescue where they have been fostering dogs for over 3 years. He enjoys cycling, DIY home projects, Sailboat Racing, and talking about cars. Dr Matt is dedicated to providing the best patient experience while getting to know more about his patients than just their mouths.
Ali is our star registered dental hygienist. She already has a large following of patients who appreciate her delicate skill along with her upbeat and friendly personality. Ali has a Boston Terrier named Dexter and loves what she does.

My wife and I moved to Los Angeles ten years ago. Looking for a dentist, we were lucky that a friend enthusiastically recommended Kaufman Dentistry. Our experience has been identical. Dental care instead of being a source of constant anxiety and distress has become associated with confidence and peace of mind. In my frequent visits to the office (for various services including several crowns and fillings) both Doctors (Matt and Warren) have acted as ideal dentists. What distinguishes them is the combination of four consistent characteristics. They are extremely competent dentists with impressive professional knowledge, experience and skill. This competency is accompanied with a caring attitude. They like their work and care about their patients' well being. Many a times we felt as if we were a family member. Furthermore, they are truly honest. Their moral and principled character earned our trust. finally, they are cheerful, communicative and pleasant persons who became a friend. In addition, the entire staff are professional, pleasant, competent and helpful. I am retiring in a few months and therefore we will move from California. One of the things that we will miss is our access to Kaufman Dentistry.

Dr. Warren Kaufman is in a league of his own. I visited Dr. Kaufman after a referral from Dr. Bornstein at Culver City Orthodontics (who is also great btw). Frankly, I don't remember the last time I experienced a Dr. who cares, listens, and is paying as much attention as Dr. Kaufman. In a day and age where most of medicine feels more like a "McDonalds - one billion served" machine - Dr. Kaufman breaks that mold and sets an example for Drs. everywhere. I appreciated Dr. Kaufman's bedside manner, his attention to detail, and his diagnostician's eye. Don't hesitate to visit Dr. Kaufman for even a minute!

Great doctors and staff. A very professional, immaculate, high tech office. I just referred my husband to Kaufman Dentistry because his dentist retired.

dr warren kaufman is phenomenal (as is his whole incredible staff)....patient, extremely knowledgeable, and forthright. there's no "upselling" here...it's just great work done by a long time dentist who knows his stuff. it's a totally spotless and well run office with little to no wait time and every one in the office doing a well coordinated job of moving you through their own the process (x-ray, teeth cleaning, etc) seamlessly. there's no guessing as to your charges. everything is explained and is given to you in writing. it's coming directly out of my pocket, but i think it's less than what i would have been charged at a beverly hills or wilshire blvd/SM office. another perk...there's plenty of street parking around this office. if you have to go back often for a few procedures...it's nice not to have to pay some office building $10+ every time you have to go back. better off spending that money in your mouth.

Dr. Kaufman (I go to Dr. Matt) is truly the best dentist I've ever had, and there's really nothing I can think of that this office could be doing better. EVERYONE in the practice, from the front office, to the hygienists, x-ray techs, and of course Dr. Matt and his dad Warren, are exceptionally competent and friendly. During the pandemic they have inspired confidence in their COVID safety protocols. I actually enjoy going to the dentist! Over the last several years, Dr. Kaufman has completed all my restorations (of other dentists' work), and did one implant. I especially love that crowns, onlays and inlays are all manufactured onsite while you wait. No more messy fittings, temporary crowns, and then having to come back two weeks later to complete the work. Basically it's two hours and you're done. It's obvious that Dr. Matt genuinely loves what he does, takes pride in his work, and is constantly striving to stay up to date with the latest technology; but only using tech that actually improves care. No question, Kaufman Dentistry gets 5 out of 5.

Dr Matt is the best! I've never been one for dentist's but this is the best one that I can say I've been to. Staff & hygienists are friendly and helpful, street parking is normally straightforward.

Scheduled service as new client through my dental provider. Selected them because their in my providers network. Missed work for appointment. Get there to find out that I have to pay $57 for X-rays. My PPO plan shows that X-rays are free if dentist is within their network. This place is in the network. But they don't do free X-rays. So any work you do need from them is going to break the bank. There fee are not going to be reasonable. Be prepared to pay an arm and a leg at this place.

Fear of going to the dentist? That all ends here! I've been through it all with dentists and messing up my teeth. Dr. Kaufman is my hero and I told him I will love him forever! He is gentle, kind and understanding. I had a tooth extracted and bone implanted and I didn't feel a thing. No swelling, nothing! Not like my other one done elsewhere, where my whole mouth was miserable for days. I can't say it enough, best dentist I've ever met! His staff is wonderful as well. Especially Lori.

Already wrote review once and somehow it disappeared, no wonder they have such a high rating ,the truth is went kaufman for many yrs, was good, now they tell me my insurance is no good, unless I want to pay more out of pocket, not sure what the deal is, my insurance hasn't changed just them, been very faithful to them and then they just cut me off. Sounds like ALOT OF Greed to me, I pray for you guys
