Dentist, Dr. Marianna Kaufman, is a Wellington, Florida resident and a Florida native since childhood. She graduated The University of Miami with a bachelors degree in Psychology and double minor degrees in Biology and Chemistry. In 2002, Dr. Kaufman received her doctorate degree in Dental Medicine from The University of Florida, College of Dentistry. She served as a Legislative Liaison in the American Student Dental Association for two years. As the liaison, Dr. Kaufman was directly involved in legislature as it pertains to dentists and to their patients. Having always participated in community service projects, Dr. Kaufman organized multiple opportunities for dental students to serve the underprivileged. In 2006, She opened her Wellington, Florida practice. Dr. Kaufman has a thirst for knowledge which has not faltered over these past 16 years of practice. She has completed courses in cosmetic dentistry which were given by some of the top cosmetic instructors in the world. In addition, Dr. Kaufman has taken hundreds of hours in Orthodontic continuing education. With this training, she is able to provide the most comprehensive approach possible when treating her patients. Most commendably, Dr. Kaufman earned her Neuromuscular/Physiological Fellowship from the esteemed Las Vegas Institute (LVI). A distinction held by less than 1% of practicing dentists. As a Neuromuscular Dentist, Dr. Kaufman evaluates the big picture when considering her patients unique treatment needs. She considers herself a doctor of the mouth and, as such, she evaluates supporting soft tissues, muscles, jaw joints, airway, and diet in addition to the teeth and gums. Dr. Kaufmans strong scientific, functional and cosmetic training coupled with a holistic approach and commitment to the use of non-toxic materials sets her apart from her colleagues. Dr. Kaufman continues to provide services for the underprivileged by providing free dental care to those who cannot afford it. She is committed to educating individuals on the importance of proper home care and diet without the use of toxic chemicals. As a Holistic Dentist, Dr. Kaufman believes that teaching about prevention of oral diseases is the most valuable lesson she can provide. She lectures on this and numerous other holistic principles at Hippocrates, a prestigious wellness institute in West Palm Beach, Florida.
I am frequently asked what it means to be a Holistic Dentist. To me, holistic dentistry involves a comprehensive approach to patient care. That is, I look at each patient as an individual. I evaluate the condition of their teeth, their jaw, and their supporting muscles. We consider the role of diet, lifestyle and systemic conditions as they relate to your oral health. In addition, we offer biocompatibility testing in order to ensure that the most agreeable materials may be utilized for treatment. Lastly, we avoid the use of fluoride, mercury, and other known toxins. When already present, their removal is done as safely as possible. When I graduated dental school I was so eager to begin my career as a dentist. My first few years were spent in gaining speed and confidence in my ability. The next few years were actually tougher...... I began to realize that although I had learned so much, there was so much left to learn. Neuromuscular dentistry served to fill in the blanks for me. It is a physiological approach which considers the teeth, muscles, and jaws and the harmony (or lack there of) therein. Over the years, my patients have truly appreciated this comprehensive holistic approach.

I live NO WHERE NEAR this place, but they are SO worth the drive! I did tons of research and read so many reviews before choosing a new dentist. Once you visit Kaufman Dental, it is easy to see why they get such highly rated reviews! The down-to-Earth staff is so wonderful, and Dr Kaufman is excellent at what she does. I got a mercury filling removed (they are SMART certified for amalgam removal) and it went so smoothly! I also had a cleaning there and it was the best cleaning I ever got. They have packages that are very reasonably priced, too. I am so glad that I finally found a dentist I really like!!!!

Moved here and looked for a holistic dentist. Exceeded my expectations. Dr Kaufman was excellent and the cleaning was the most gentle cleaning I ever had. They really take their time with you and go slowly and carefully and thoroughly. The place is not a zoo. Very calm and clean and professional. I will be returning.

Dr. Kaufman is hands-down the best dentist I've ever been to, and I'm 55 years young, so I've seen a few dentists in my day. She's supported by an amazing office team who clearly adore her, so she's also a fantastic leader. I feel so blessed to have found Dr. Kaufman. She is truly holistic, gentle, kind, very skilled at her dentistry, and trustworthy which is quite rare in this world. Her dentistry is like that of an artist. I have seen her perform miracles. She is precise and careful putting great thought and planning into every move she makes. She truly cares about her patients and their well-being. It's impossible not to fall in love with this beautiful and compassionate woman. I cannot sing her praises loud enough. I've waited awhile to post this review to allow myself time to really mull over my experience at Kaufman Dental Associates and make sure I wasn't exaggerating in my praise of this dentist and her practice. I also want to make absolutely clear that other than exceptional care, consideration and service, I've received nothing in exchange for this review. Dr. Kaufman and her entire staff are exceptional in every way imaginable and truly care from their hearts about people. Dr. Kaufman's attention to detail with COVID precautions is just one of the many examples of how seriously she takes patient care and safety for all who enter her office. I had extensive work done and am not completely finished yet. While the ordeal has been long and, at times, quite painful Dr. Kaufman is gentle and thorough. The NuCalm system she uses is amazing in the way it relaxes you. It's a perfect added tool in her toolbelt. As a dentist, Mariana Kaufman has a combination of excellence, professionalism and compassion that is rarely seen today. Her staff is much the same. They are kind, they remember you and are very thorough with billing. I highly recommend this practice.

From the moment I called and spoke with Olga, to the time I left with a brand new shiny crown, I was very impressed with the staff and Dr. Kaufman. Olga bent over backwards to get me in asap for a cracked crown, when I wasn't even a patient. (But I guarantee you I am now!!) Dr. Kaufman was very thorough and how convenient to go in and leave with a permanent crown on the same day! Thank you Olga, Christina and Dr. Kaufman
