Katz Dental in Beverly Hills, California is a premier dental practice with three generations of dentists led by Mark Katz, DDS, and his daughter Laura Katz, DDS. In 1966, Sanford Katz opened this dental office on Olympic Boulevard. His oldest son, Mark Katz, DDS, joined the practice in 1988. After 46 years in private practice, Sanford retired at the end of 2010. And now, Marks daughter, Laura Katz, DDS, begins her work as a dentist there.
Our team consists of remarkably loyal and dedicated people who all have been with the office over 20 years! Lucia is the dental assistant and back-office manager; Ann is the front office manager and patient coordinator; Susie is the dental hygienist seeing patients 4 days a week and Judy is our other hygienist in the office working 2 days a week.
Mark Katz, DDS, of Katz Dental in Beverly Hills, California was born and raised in Los Angeles to parents who were also born and raised in LA. While attending University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Dentistry, he served as student president of the Alpha Omega Dental fraternity. After graduating, he remained active in the philanthropic fraternity, ultimately becoming president of the Los Angeles City chapter. He joined his father in practice where they worked together for 23 years. Mark is the proud father of three wonderful children, one of whom is his new dental partner. In addition to practicing dentistry, Mark enjoys cycling, travel, photography, sports and all things music.
Laura Katz, DDS, of Katz Dental in Beverly Hills, California is a third-generation dentist who received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles. At USC she volunteered on multiple dental mission trips with the Dental Humanitarian Outreach Program (DHOP), which only enhanced her desire to give back to those with little or no access to dental care. She was also a volunteer at USCs Mobile Clinic where she provided dental care and education to underserved areas in Central and Southern California. Now as a faculty member, she supervises the dental students that provide comprehensive care. She was a Deans List student and inducted as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She enjoys working with people in achieving more confident, better smiles.

A fantastic, family-run dental practice. Dr. Mark Katz and Dr. Laura Katz are both knowledgeable and friendly, as are the hygienists and team around them. Would absolutely recommend.

Very trustworthy family business . I have been going to Dr Katz almost for 30 years . I am one of those nervous patients that needs lots of attention and Dr Katz always makes me feel calm with his care and kindness . I always know that I am in a good hand with him and Susie who has been cleaning my teeth for ever ! And Ann at the front desk who is always very kind and friendly. They never over charge you or make you do more than what it needs to be done . I highly recommend this place if you are looking for an excellent dental care .

I love Katz Dental. It's a true family business. Ive been going to them ever since I moved down from Northern California back in 1993. Susie has been cleaning my teeth for the majority of my visits and she is always a pleasure to see. All 3 Katz's (Sanford, Mark, and now, Laura) are friendly, accessible, and professional. And of course Ann at the front desk is a welcome sight every 6 months.

All precautions were being taken to prevent spread of COVID and make patient feel comfortable and safe. Judy is a gentle but thorough hygienist and Dr Mark is the consummate professional.

Was six months overdue for my appointment, but very pleased with mu visit for X-rays and cleaning. Dr. Katz's office is well prepared for patient visits, and I felt very safe.

This office is punctual, friendly, and have excellent COVID safety protocols in place. I've been coming here for years, and have no reason to change. Everyone knows how difficult it is to find a doctor or dentist one is comfortable with. This office is one of those secret finds!

yes it`s true --- it is always a 5 star experience ! Good , honest treatment is not easy to find - everyone at this practice is 1st rate - I live in Carlsbad and make the drive, so you know :) !

My family and I have been fortunate, indeed to be cared for by Dr. Katz, his father before him, and that of every single person in the office over the past 40 plus years! Their human concern and kindness is of the highest level! We count ourselves lucky, indeed to know every member of Dr. Katz's staff. I have been a patient for more than 20 years and, at this point, feel more like family than a patient (and know I am not alone in that regard). Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. I recommend Katz Dental without hesitation.

I have been a patient at Katz Dental for many years, first with Sandy and now with Mark. I could not be more pleased. Mark is thorough, kind, thoughtful and caring. The staff is great, and my hygienist is great. What more could a patient ask for?

Thank goodness for Katz Dental if I may call it that. I don't know what a bad experience there might be because over the time I've been using Katz Dental the "professionalism" of every aspect of their practice has been ten out of five stars.

My entire family of 5 has been using Katz Dental for 20 years and they are great. They are professional, friendly, thorough and gentle. We have been seeing Dr. Mark Katz all these years and now we see Dr. Laura Katz as well. I highly recommend both! I have referred friends and they have all been as happy there as we are.
