When I was growing up, orthodontic care was not within my reach. In fact, the city where I grew up did not even have an orthodontist. Finally, I got braces as an adult while attending dental school. I realized, first-hand, how life-changing having a beautiful smile youre not afraid to hide really is. It has been my mission ever since to provide this kind of impact in others lives through my profession. My work is smiles confident and self-esteem boosting smiles.
My staff and I attend annual conferences put on by the American Association of Orthodontists and other education lectures across the country every year to stay current with the newest advances in oral healthcare. We are always excited by the latest developments in treatment techniques and technologies. I hold membership in numerous professional organizations to gain from the shared experience and opinions of other leaders in the field. My professional affiliations include:
Giving back to the community is a fundamental part of my practices work philosophy. I am personally involved in multiple charities, and I donate to every school and after school program that my patients are involved in. I also treat a number of cases free of charge every year for families in need. The great community of Katy has already given me much, and I want to help put an end to childhoods of hidden smiles like mine.
I am of Indian origin; my grandparents migrated to Kenya. I was born in Kenya but have lived all over thanks to my great education. I have happily settled down in Katy, Texas, for eighteen years now with my wife, Purvi, who is a native of Houston. We fell in love with the community of Katy and believe it to be a great place for our family. We have two children, a daughter named Shreya and a son named Shaan. I could not ask for a better family. I love spending time with them, and I continue to enjoy traveling around the world. Shreya is currently attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I also enjoy swimming, biking, and going on campouts with Shaan, which are put on by Boy Scouts of America.
Sydney is our treatment coordinator has over 6 years experience in orthodontics and will be the first person you meet as a new patient. Sydney is a master scheduler, she will help you get your braces on and off with minimal school/work time missed. Her favorite part of her job is observing the increased confidence patients experience from their first visit to their last. She looks forward to helping every patient that walks through our door with their orthodontic needs and hopes to see you soon. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Raeanne joined our team in early 2018 straight out of Dental Assisting School. Dr. Dhutia personally taught and trained Raeanne. As a child, Raeanne had 2 phases of treatment. That is when she took interest in the dental field. She is thankful and blessed to be with Dr. Dhutia and her Katy Ortho Family. She loves how at Katy Orthodontics, we care for and love our patients as well as their families. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family or loving on her Pomeranian pup, Peanut. She also enjoys cooking, baking, working out, and dancing.
Natalie joined our team in 2020 and has been personally trained by Dr. Dhutia. From putting braces on, tightening your braces and removing them Natalie has learnt it all. A people person, she enjoys meeting all our patients and getting to know them during the course of their treatment. She loves seeing patients faces when they see their new smile for the first time. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her daughter and their new puppy, Beans.

My daughter just completed her Invisalign regimen and her smile is beautiful! Dr. Dhutia and his staff were absolutely wonderful and it was worth the drive for us! We live about 25 minutes away and every time we went in for my daughter's appointments, they were quick and informative. If her appointment was going to take a little longer, they informed be when I was booking the appointment. Very nice of them to do that with my tight schedule! My daughter always felt comfortable with Dr. Dhutia and his staff. She commented that they all have a gentle touch. Dr. Dhutia's office is absolutely beautiful too! It was always clean and calm in his office. We definitely appreciate all of his staff's help, expertise, and love through the entire process.

We had our initial consult today for my son and received excellent service. We were greeted and taken back immediately. Amy was great and took us back immediatley. She was very ;knowledgable and efficient in getting xrays and photos. We then met with Dr. Dhutia. He was great and we settled on a plan for my son. Looking forward to moving forward with Katy Orthodontics.

Dr. Dhutia had been great for my son's ortho treatment. I never had to wait too long, he is very meticulous. He even provided his personal cell no# during this time and advised to reach out during off hours and surprisingly when I reached out, he answered too. Really appreciative of his work. Not just him, the staff is equally polite and reachable. As they say "you are as good as the boss", this is truly experienced here. Please continue the good work that you are doing. Thank you all!

Dr. Dhutia was very thorough with my son's treatment plan. The facility is clean and the front office staff were very helpful and accommodating. Communication options via email, text, and/or phone call has been amazing and efficient. They respond very quickly! All of my kids will come here for orthodontic care! Very professional.

We are very happy with Dr.Dhutia and the staff at Katy Orthodentics . This is the second time we are having a treatment for our daughter. Her jaw structure required an early intervention. After consulting with several orthodontists, Dr.Dhutia won my confidence. The staff has always been polite and they are so punctual in their reminders and response, that they take the worry out of the process.

My daughter just finished 2 1/2 years being treated by Dr Dhutia and his excellent team at Katy Orthodontics. First, she needed an expander; then braces, and now a retainer. He was patient waiting to see if surgery would be required. Dr Dhutia straightened her teeth and she looks amazing. He is not only a great orthodontist, but also an excellent business manager. My daughter missed only 1 appointment throughout the entire pandemic. They have been extremely careful and made us feel very comfortable continuing treatment. My daughter even finished her braces a month before scheduled. She will start high school with a bright, beautiful smile. Thank you Katy Orthodontics!

I'll go into more detail about why I'm feeling this way, originally I didn't specify. First I'd like to start off by saying the process was fine, my teeth look well, and the doctor was always very attentive. However, whenever I've come here I'm mostly attended by technicians who treat me a bit poorly, and nobody can ever get my name right haha I felt that whenever I had an issue with my braces, it was always my fault. For example, when my teeth weren't moving the way they were supposed to, I was told it was because I wasn't wearing my bands or because they were worn incorrectly when I would ALWAYS wear them though they caused an inexplicable amount of pain. Another example is just now, when I explained that my retainer was tight, they said it was because I waited too long to put it on and that I should've come in earlier. However my mother was working, we were told it was ready with an extremely short notice, so we were unable to pick it up until a day later. That wasn't anybody's fault. Though the process of having braces was no problem, I always felt that the way my mom and I were treated was a bit poor, and I feel they were not listening to us.

Dr. Dhutia and his Katy Orthodontics staff have been awesome with our kids. They are friendly and very professional, and the facility is maintained very clean. The staff has always been polite, and they are very prompt in sending reminders and response. They are very meticulous in scheduling and we have never had to wait much at all during any of our visits. Both our girls love Dr. Dhutia and staff and I would highly recommend them to anyone with orthodontics needs.

Worked to find alternative solutions to jaw surgery and ways to avoid excessive extractions--we interviewed five area orthos and this doc was by far the most advanced technologically and had the newest and latest innovations. Truly remarkable results for our daughter (older kiddo used a lesser ortho and there has been a great deal of disappointment--you get what you pay for. ) Discounts here for paying in full up front and for opting for morning appts. Great staff. Super organized and the practice is big enough that we rarely had to wait for any time at all. Younger patients will love the points system to get fun prizes.
