Dr. Deja Opusunju attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She was accepted into the dental hygiene program at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas where she graduated with honors and received another Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. After practicing dental hygiene for several years, she knew she chose the right profession and decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a dentist.
Having been born in Houston and then raised in Stafford, Texas, Dr. Opusunju relocated to Augusta, GA where she earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from The Dental College of Georgia. Following graduation, Dr. Opusunju made the decision to move back to Houston to be closer to her mother, siblings, nieces and nephew. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys traveling, writing, working out, playing sports, mentoring youth and giving back to the community through volunteering. She has dental experience that includes working with kids so she is able to provide comprehensive dental care for the entire family. Dr. Opusunju is a member of professional dental organizations such as the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Opusunju is committed to creating both beautiful and healthy smiles.

I love this office. The doctor is very knowledgeable and professional. She took her time went over X-rays and photos, No one has ever done that for me. Her assistant is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. I have definitely found my new dental home. Thank you.

I felt so relaxed once I started talking with the staff. The initial exam was professional and caring and no judgment, just sincere care and a detailed action plan. Absolutely wonderful experience the whole way through. Caring team under the expert leadership of Dr. Opusunju who delivered my first ever "treatment plan" after this particular area of my health suffered for a few years and Covid-19 made it easy to push back check-ups. She was kind delivering less-than-ideal news and did so along with helpful explanations of her science. Will absolutely be our dentist over the long-term!!

I had been looking a new dentist office in the area, got on google and was able to find this great office with beautiful black knowledgeable women! Dr. Opusunju has been amazing and I'm always pleased with my visits. I've seen her about 3 times so far. I had just got my braces removed and my gums were irritated, Dr. O, then referred me to black periodontist who also did some amazing work!! So happy I found your office, thank you for everything!! 10/10 Highly recommend!! See you in a few months!!

Dr. Opusunju is really great. This is a standalone clinic unlike many of the chains that are out there and it really shows. She does very high quality work and is quite talented. If you are a person concerned at all with the pain of having dental work done, she is a really good choice. I've always had issues with getting properly numbed at the dentist however she did a great job. All in all I've been very impressed.

After breaking up with my former dentist after 10 + years of service, I walked into Katy Creek Ranch Dentistry feeling really defeated and in need of second opinion. From the moment I walked in on a rainy, cold day, I received a warm welcome from the young lady at the front desk as well as the dental assistant. All transitions from the front area to x-rays, to meeting with Dr. O was very smooth. The time Dr. O took to review the findings of my exam in great detail assured me that I made the right decision for myself as well as my family by bringing our business there. I highly recommend that everyone visit Dr. O and her amazing staff. You will not be disappointed.

Just had my first visit to this katy creek ranch family dentistry today, the personnel are super nice, and the facility is new as well. I went for a teeth cleaning, but was given a comprehensive review of teeth conditions, I really like the service, would recommend this clinic
