Dr. Gutierrez is a graduate of the University of Texas Dental Branch, he has practiced in the Houston and Katy area since 1986. He is experienced in both Invisalign Orthodontics as well as traditional braces.
Align Technology has called on Dr. Gutierrez to teach their certification courses that are required for doctors who want to use the Invisalign system. He continues to be recognized by Invisalign as a Diamond Provider which automatically places him in the top 1% by experience.
Nessa is a Registered Dental Hygienist who graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch. With over 33 years experience, she is still passionate about dentistry and loves serving and educating patients about their dental health. Nessa has worked with Dr. Gutierrez since 1986. She is happily married with four children: Jessica and Haley (twins), Bryce, and Brooke. In her spare time, Nessa loves reading, personal development, and traveling.
Ashley joined the KCC team in August of 2018 as a Registered Dental Assistant. Although she is a big help on our Clinical Team, Ashley is most seen with our new patients in her role as Treatment Coordinator and behind the scenes heading up our Marketing Department. She loves spending time as a family with her daughter, Brynlee and husband, Greg. Ashley enjoys reading, crafts, and photography.
Amy has been with the KCC team since 2012 as one of our Treatment Coordinators. She has lived in Katy for over 20 years. Amy is married to Matt and they have two beautiful daughters, Natalie and Maddi. She loves to travel to other countries and learn about different cultures. Her two favorite pastimes (even when traveling) are reading and playing tennis.
Annie is an alumni of Texas Tech University and has been on the KCC team since day one of the practice. She has 31 years experience helping patients get their full insurance benefits. Annie loves spending time with her husband, Mark, and their children, Travis and his wife Sarah, Austin, and Cody. Her favorite activities are yoga and jogging with her two dogs, Abby and Ag.
Sara is a Registered Dental Assistant who joined the KCC team in August of 2007. She is our Lead Clinical Assistant. Sara loves going on cruises and traveling all around. She is a dog mom to Shadow and also has a gift for working with special needs children.
Amy is a Registered Dental Assistant who joined the KCC team in August of 2011. Youll probably see her all around the office, as she serves as our Administrative Coordinator and one of our Clinical Assistants. Amys favorite TV shows are Big Bang Theory and First 48. Most of her time spent watching these are spent snuggled up with her sweet pup, Nala.
Carmen joined the KCC team in July of 2019. As a Registered Dental Assistant, she is a rockstar on our Clinical Team and as Lab Technician. Carmen values time spent with her husband, Nicholas, traveling, going to the beach and spending time with family.
Jessica joined the KCC team in 2016. While she has served many roles on our team, Jessica currently serves mostly behind the scenes. Her roles include helping with marketing and managing our social media accounts. Jessica owns an online health and fitness company. She also has a passion for helping women walk through addiction recovery. In Jessicas spare time, you can find her mudding with her boyfriend on their 4 wheelers and SXS or playing with their dogs, Damian and Kooper!
In orthodontics, the good news is, that there are little to no true emergencies! There may be higher importance on certain types of scenarios. Ask them how they prefer to handle these situations so you can prepare with ease of mind.
The iTero Scanner is a newer product that has transformed orthodontic treatment! It enhances clear aligner treatment and retainer experience. Each office utilizes this digital technology in various ways.

We will need to take orthodontic xrays and photos to store on file as records of your treatment. Records always happen before and after treatment. Sometimes, they happen in the middle of treatment also!

My daughter was only a patient for about 2 months now, and I have to say the staff is amazing, they are very informative, professional, and just all around friendly. They really take pride in being a great help to their patients and have the patients best interests for a perfect smile. I will recommend them to anyone in need of a beautiful smile.

We have had the best experience with Katy ClearChoice Orthodontics!!!! They treat you like family and are always professional. They have taken great care of my 2 boys and we love these guys. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

The staff were friendly, but the dentist made my child feel very UNCOMFORTABLE in the rude way he spoke to the both of us. I have never in my life experienced that in any dental office and hate that my child had to witness that. My experience at this office was extremely negative. As I stated in my Initial review. My child and I had a very agonizing experience that occurred at Katy ClearChoice Orthodonics. The doctor was very dismissive and made my child feel more self-conscious about their teeth. Glad I chose to spend my money in a more professional environment.

Love KCC! My experience here was amazing. I had a different ortho before coming here and nothing compares. Dr. Gutierrez is great! He listens to his clients and is so accommodating! The staff is so kind and you can tell they truly care about their customers. Everything from my braces journey to check-ins/booking appointments - I highly recommend. Shoutout to Carmen, Amy & Ashley for being wonderful!

They made us paid first and told us insurance will reimburse us. But they never filed our dental insurance for almost a month until I have to call them. After I called them and they said they would file it , few days later I still did not see their claim come in. In response to your reply below. Even though there is no reimbursement from my insurance but it is still count against my deductible. Does not mean your clinic don't need to file the claim. Please advise.

Friendly helpful staff. They explain everything so you understand what is going to happen or why things happen. Kids enjoy all the fun perks they get when they come in for an office visit.

They have an amazing atmosphere with great personnel. They always do a great job and are very kind. Wouldn't have wanted to go through the braces process with anybody else and have never left the building disappointed. I would definitely recommend!

Looking for an Orthodontist? This place is outstanding! I went to this Orthodontist based on the pictures of the place and the reviews i read online and they exceeded the expectations. From an extremely clean and professional looking place to the friendly staff. What i enjoyed the most was how professional everyone was during my visit, from the front desk to the doctor. You can tell that this clinic is run by a lot of passionate professionals and i would recommend it without hesitation to anyone who is trying to make a choice.

I was never happy with my smile and braces wasn't something my parents could ever afford to do for me when I was younger. I saved up and finally was able to get my braces. Dr G., Amy and Sonia has made my Braces Journey smooth and easy. Over the past two years, every appointment was just great and I never had a single issue. I finally got my braces off this week and I now have a beautiful smile that's I've always wanted! Thank you everyone at K.C.C. !
