caring. I got my braces removed about a year ago and even with a retainer my teeth have shifted. he told me he will put braces back on, as much as I want to scream because who wants braces again haha i'm very grateful that he noticed my teeth are moving and is doing something to make sure my teeth are straight instead of leaving me behind with crooked teeth after paying. grateful.

Dr. Kattner is an amazing doctor! I love going to this place. From the moment you enter, they are squeaky clean, girls at the front are wonderful and very pleasant to talk to. Dr. Kattner is very patient with all your questions and gives you his full attention. He explains everything very well. I have never had any problems coming to see him here!

My daughter had braces by Dr. Kattner and had them removed 10 yrs ago. Dr. Kattner and his staff were so nice even when my daughter kept losing her retainer and we had moved an hour and a half away and they were able to get us in after she got out of school. My daughter still gets compliments and always adored Dr.Kattner. Kalyn always liked how he had the best suggestions for the colors of her bands.

I had went to Kattner as a child and my teeth ended up looking very nice. He did the job just fine. The only issues ive had with him is pretty much all the rude comments hes said over the years. I remember as a kid wanting to cry almost every time i left. Well its been a very long time since I went, my retainer broke and I let my teeth get in bad shape. No ones fault but my own. I am already very self conscious and it was very hard to go back and see Dr Kattner as I felt there would definitely be a rude comment or two. Sure enough the minute i saw him, he told me how " jacked up" my teeth were....and kept saying how bad they are. I had seen a different orthodontist and was treatsd absolutely amazing. Treated like a person. Im sure Kattner does great work, but the insults are absolutely uncalled for and make you very uncomfortable. I am 34 and was in tears after leaving. No one regardless of situation should be talked to like i was.

I unfortunately did not have such a great experience here at Kattner Orthodoctics. I am an adult patient, so I am aware adult braces are tougher cases, but my treatment should've never taken 5 years to complete. I went in for a consultation 5 years ago and was told I would need 4 teeth removed. I was shocked when I heard that, as I didn't think I had much crowding, but I did have an unnoticeable overbite. Initially, I was a bit skeptical about it and decided to refuse the extractions. My following appointment, I was told the consequences of not getting my teeth removed and Dr. Kattner convinced me and made it seem as if there were really no other option but getting teeth removed. So I decided to trust the professional, and went with his recommendation instead of my gut feeling. He estimated my time with braces to be about 1yr and a half- 2years... well that turned into 5 years in braces!!! (Finally got them removed November 2020 by a different orthodontist) After my 2 years were up, he didn't know what else to do, as my overbite was never fixed and my teeth weren't aligned as he thought they'd be. I got the feeling he just wanted me to be done with treatments bc I was done making payments and my teeth started shifting in unwanted directions.(since I didn't have enough teeth for the size of my mouth once I got the extractions) I transferred to a different orthodontist after the 2 years and had a totally different experience. This orthodontist personally made me feel welcomed and gave me multiple options. He also mentioned to me I shouldn't have gotten all 4 teeth removed, and I would've had a fuller smile. Looking back at previous pictures, I could tell my smile would've been more beautiful if I would've kept my teeth, and they should've removed my wisdom teeth instead to create more space for my other teeth, not my premolars. My recommendation is to always get 2nd 3rd or even 4th opinions.. don't rush into anything just because you've been waiting for braces forever, because you'll live on regrets. It's now been more than 5years after this experience and I still look at my smile in the mirror and just want to cry. I regret not listening to my gut, or getting more opinions.

Dr. Kattner and his team were professional and skilled. During the pandemic they quickly instituted safety measures allowing my daughter to complete her journey successfully. Her confident smile says it all.
