Dr. Eaton grew up on a dairy farm near Trenton, Illinois, 40 miles east of St. Louis. She graduated from Indiana University dental school in 1999. Immediately after dental school she served Native Americans in Montana through the Indian Health Service. She has provided dental care for the less fortunate for the majority of her dental career. Relieving pain and suffering has been her passion.
Dr. Eaton has been a Rotary Club member since 2009 and finds the weekly meetings to be inspiring and fulfilling while providing community service locally and improving people's lives around the world. The meetings have interesting and informative programs dealing with topics of local and global importance. Dr. Eaton likes to relax by going on walks, working out at Planet Fitness, reading the newspaper and watching the Home and Garden Network.
Since June 2016 Dr.Eaton's family volunteers weekly for 1-3 hours at SHARE, the Society for Hooved Animals Rescue and Emergency, a not-for-profit humane society started in 2002 near Dewey, Illinois. It houses around fifty horses, donkeys and mules, one goat and an occasional llama. Volunteers feed, water and groom the animals and lead them into their stalls. Mobile Mutts is a charitable organization that transports dogs (and a few cats) from animal shelters in the south that euthanize animals to no-kill shelters in the north that will accept them and adopt them out. They utilize foster families for Saturday overnight stays during transportation. The Eatons usually take one dog each week since August 2017 but have had as many as ten puppies stay over. The family dog, Smooches, looks forward to the visits and enjoys playing with the guest dogs.
Dr.Eatonparticipates in a Spear study group of fifteen local dentists and specialists.The practice is owned and operated by Dr.Eaton. She is the only dentist in the solo private practice. Kim, our front desk scheduling specialist has extensive experience and is the heartbeat of our schedule flow, gathering information from patients as well as their dental insurance information for a stress-free visit. She started working in dental offices in 2000. Kim loves spending time with her 5 children and 3 grandchildren and 2 dogs.
Savannah is our full time dental hygienist. She graduated from Lake Land College in 2018. Shes excited to find a private practice where she can flourish with the same philosophy of taking care of patients.

I have TERRIBLE dentist anxiety. Dr. Eaton and everyone on her team have always done everything they can to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Everyone there is so nice and I have nothing but good things to say!

I am submitting this review through my husband's Google account. We are traveling in an RV and were passing through Illinois on Easter weekend when a very chewy energy bar pulled a crown right off my tooth. It was Saturday. I frantically searched for a dentist in the area but most were closed until Monday. Then I found Dr. Eaton. Although they were scheduled to close soon, they stayed open and waited for me to arrive. The entire staff were friendly, kind and professional. The dental assistant put me at ease. Dr. Eaton was thorough and efficient. My tooth was quickly fixed and I was back on the road to continue our journey. They even went to the trouble of sharing my X-rays with my home dentist. Thanks for the considerate and professional service! -D

I have EXTREME anxiety when going to the dentist. Dr Eaton and her staff always make it a peaceful, calm experience and let me be me. They are patient and kind. I would recommend them to anyone!!!

I regretted to choose her as my dentist in the past two years. She didn't worth my trust in the past. I saw many people who had similar experience with me from Yelp, but I don't understand why the review is so high from google. The current 5-star rating is absolutely misleading! 1. She is not responsible to patients. She told me that I had 20+ tooth need to be filled, but she didn't fill the most urgent ones. As a consequence, I had spent all my insurance on those tiny decays, and had to do root canal on two teeth without insurance. If she could have filled that two most urgent teeth earlier, I wouldn't have to spend $2000 on root canal without insurance. Not mention so much pain I had for root canal. 2. She is not professional. For the fillings she performed, they don't have good quality. One tooth material was removed too much by her; another tooth became very sharp after filling that often hurts my tongue. 3. The communication is bad. She is not willing to tell your the situation of your teeth unless you ask; and she always seemed very busy and have no time to talk to you. I don't recommend her as your dentist.

Dr. Eaton is an amazing dentist. I originally went to her because she was so close to my employer, but have been so happy with the service she has provided I will continue to use her moving forward. She is so talented and thorough. I have had several dental issues recently and she is always willing to see me immediately and go above and beyond to resolve the issue. I never take the time to write a review however, I have been so impressed with her service that I felt I had to let people know.
