Dr. Kathryn Grady is a graduate of Loyola University School of Dentistry, and she established this practice in 1991. She also completed an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene and a B.S. in Health Education prior to dental school. She maintains professional affiliations as a member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Kathryn L. Grady and Dr. Martin J. Grady are third generation dentists. Their father, Dr. Emmett J. Grady, practiced dentistry on the south side of Chicago for more than 25 years. Dr. Emmett J. Grady had two uncles, Dr. Stephen Grady and Dr. Thomas Grady who practiced dentistry in Chicago in the 1940's, -50's and -60's. All three generations of Grady dentists attended Loyola University School of Dentistry (previously named Chicago College of Dentistry). Dr. Kathryn was the 6th Grady dentist to graduate from Loyola over a 62 year period of time.
Dr. Martin J. Grady received his undergraduate degree from the University of Detroit in 1979 in Education. He taught High School in the Chicago area for three years before deciding to go back to school to pursue a degree in Dentistry. After two years at the University of Illinois he started Dental School at Loyola University, graduating in 1988.
Both Dr. 's Grady are happy to be continuing work in their 'family business'. They are especially pleased that some families have remained patients through two, and even three, generations of Grady dentists.
Kathy is a graduate of Illinois State University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She joined the Grady team in 2004. She will help you schedule apppointments. She is an expert in communicating with insurance companiesand will help you understand, and get the most from your insurance benefits.

I have very good experience with Dr. Grady and her staffs. She is knowledgeable and really cares of her patient's feeling. Best doctor I've ever seen. Highly recommended to everyone.

Love Dr Grady. I moved to the area a few years ago. I bounced around a few dentists office that were owned by corporate entities. I found the dentists at these offices to be sales people selling me on thousands of dollars of work that I suspected that I did not need. I searched through Google reviews and found Dr Grady. She is awesome. She is honest and extremely thorough. Dr Grady is also a very kind person and so is her staff. I had my husband switch to her office too. He is a tough sell and he also loves Dr Grady. Highly recommend.

I have dental phobia! I have never been to a dentist office and felt ok about being there. Usually, I feel sick to my stomach! From the moment I entered and spoke to Cathy behind the reception desk, I felt at ease. The lovely girl who took my x-rays, was patient and nice. The office has nice visuals so you forget you're in a dentists chair. Dr. Grady was informative and really made me feel at ease, she explained her plan for me to have good dental health, and really made me feel as though it would make her happy to do this for me! The entire experience was wonderful! Dr.Grady knows what she is doing and has been doing it a long time. You will not be disappointed making an appointment here!

She and her staff are always friendly and treat us with the utmost care. I and others have individual issues which are not the easiest to deal with, yet the practice caters to these individual needs. The staff is really mean. I feel like a commodity and the when it comes to billing they make you feel like a deadbeat unless you prepay. Whatever happened to bill me and paying in the next 30 days. Really uncomfortable feeling there.
