In our family dentist office we recommend that patients eat a healthy diet that consists of green leafy vegetables, lean protein, nuts, dairy products, and crunchy fruits and veggies. Eating these foods along with drinking water can help to keep teeth healthy and make them stronger. By simultaneously reducing sugar intake, patients can also reduce their risk of cavities.
It is also important to brush and floss throughout the day. Instead of waiting for bedtime to brush teeth, carry a small toothbrush and use it after meals and snacks. This makes it possible to remove sugar and bacteria from the teeth and gums before it has the opportunity to turn into acid that can attack the teeth. This preventative step can greatly reduce a persons' risk of getting a cavity or gum disease. I called with a dental emergency and the staff could not have been more welcoming. Sandy said to come in at 12:15 and we will take care of you . She called back 15 minutes later and asked if I could come in now. I immediately drove over. Dr. Allen got me in right away. Dee got me prepared for the work and she and Dr. Allen worked together and fixed my problem. What a great team. They work well as a team. Very professional. I was there for about a half hour and by the time I left I felt like I was part of the family. I was extremely lucky to find them! I left a happy camper. Thanks again. Arnold Liscombe.

I'm a very nervous patient and my mouth is junk. Dr. Allen and her hygienist took excellent care of me. Couldn't have asked for better care. I felt like I could trust Dr. Allen.

Great office and so welcoming . The entire staff truly care about their patients. I have been going to this office now for 2 years. Today I had to have a crown done. Dr. Allen and her assistant Dee were so gentle, and explained everything so well. They took great care of me and I did not experience any pain, so amazing. I also highly recommend her hygienist who is so conscientious . I am a long time Venice resident and a nurse and highly recommend this office.

Dr. Allen returned my call today As I left an urgent message that I was in pain. Even though her office is closed today she spent a half hour on the phone with me taking my history and trying to figure out how she could help me. My pain symptoms have no clear diagnosis but Dr. Allen went through all possibilities for pain relief relief and she guided me to doctors and alternative medicine doctors for help. Her concern and compassion was something I've rarely seen in doctors and I really appreciated her help. She was great! And I wholeheartedly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Kathie Allen.

First visit today. I originally inquired about new patients on a Sunday - via the website. Dr. Kathy called me that day....WOW! Today was as pleasant as her Sunday phone call. Dr. Allen saw my husband on very short notice when his front tooth broke unexpectedly. Even though we are travelers and may not be able to return and ever see her again, she took time to care for him. If we lived in Venice you can be sure she would be our choice. She was concerned and very efficient. Dr. Allen is worthy of your trust. She has a wonderful staff as well. Thank you very much!!
