The intraoral camera is an amazing diagnostic tool for viewing different angles in the mouth that we would not have been able to see just a few years ago. The camera gives us the ability to view the entire mouth on a monitor so that we can get a closer look at any potential issues or problems that may arise. In addition, the patient will have the ability to see for themselves first hand the same images we are seeing. These digital images are also excellent for gaining procedure acceptance from insurance companies.
While CPAP is considered the gold standard for sleep apnea treatment, there are estimates that only 40% of patients wear their CPAP masks each night. The reasons a patient may want to avoid a CPAP mask include:
Oral cancer screenings are a very important part of the dental visit for the patient. With the advances in modern technology, we are now able to pinpoint the start of a potential problem much earlier in its evolution. The ability to do so is extremely important in being able to treat any issues prior to them becoming a major irreversible problem.
Certain lifestyle choices can have a great impact on the health of tissues and your overall health in the mouth. If you are a smoker or heavy drinker, make sure to get regular screenings when you visit the dentist.
Digital x-rays are quickly becoming adopted by a large percentage of the dental industry. A digital x-ray allows the dentist to take an image of the tooth or teeth and put it into an imaging program. Within this imaging program, there are a number of tools that will allow the dentist to take a very close look at the teeth and surrounding structures with amazing accuracy. As a benefit to the patient, the digital x-ray also provides nearly 80% less radiation than a standard x-ray. This is due to the fact that the digital version of the x-ray is much more sensitive to this radiation and has been specifically designed with the patient in mind.
Known affectionately to her patients as Dr. Katherine, Dr. Minh-Khue Dang is a long time Virginian, attending schools and working in Virginia. For over 20 years, her dental practice has provided caring, gentle, customized, high-end dental services to patients in the Northern Virginia area.
To Dr. Dang, continuing dental education is a lifelong commitment that enables her and her team to deliver excellent care to her patients. She has been continually updating and refining her skills in all aspects of dentistry, particularly, in the fields of Implantology, Periodontology, Crowns and Bridges, Cosmetic Dentistry, Sleep Medicine, and Invisalign Treatment.
Dr. Dang received her Bachelors degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond.
Dr. Katherine Minh-Khue Dang is a Fellow of the Misch International Implant institute. Dr. Dang has been awarded the distinguished status of Diplomate and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI, DICOI).
Dr. Dang loves good food, good wine and exchanging travel stories with her patients. She is improving all the time in tennis and volleyball, albeit slowly! She loves hiking VA trails, especially in the fall and she loves dogs, all types.
Cannons friendly smile will be the first to greet you at Rejuvenation Dental Studio. Her primary role is to deliver top-notch customer service and ensure patients satisfaction. She is passionate about caring for others and is always available to answer any questions or concerns our patients may have.
Cannon recently moved to Virginia from Alberta, Canada, where she has spent half of her lifetime. She grew up in Memphis, Tennessee originally. Her desire to care for and impact others comes from living a life focused around health and wellness. She enjoys activities such as hiking, snowboarding, boxing and cooking healthy meals. She will gladly strike up a conversation with our patients!
Mike is a skilled dental assistant with over 20 years of experience. Originally from Hampton, VA Mike is happily married with two beautiful daughters. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and also likes going to restaurants and watching films.

Very thorough. She spends a great deal of time with each patient during the examination, the procedure, and in discussing her findings. She is gentle and rarely causes pain. Considering all of the above, her fees are quite reasonable. My home is about a 45 minute drive away but she'd worth the extra driving time compared to dentists closer to my home.

I have been a patient for many, many years and never have been dissatisfied. The current crew of The Doc, The Canon, A-I-leen, and Lil Dang(ie. Ben) are all extremely professional and personable plus. They're the kind of folks that you'd like to hang with in non dental situations. The atmosphere is great and you even get the music of your choosing!! If you need to visit a dentist, and we all need to visit a dentist, then you can't miss here!

I've been going to Dr. Dang for many years, I followed her from Alexandria to her newer office in convenient Falls Church. She is thorough and professional as well as kind and friendly. She always questions one's general health and well being as well as dental health. I trust her skills and recommendations for keeping my teeth and gums in good shape. The office is well managed, spotless and modern. Appointments are not difficult to schedule, prices in line with the McLean/Falls Church area. Dr. Dang went the extra mile for me when I had a gum infection last summer just a few days before leaving for a long trip, even sharing her cell phone # in case I had problems while traveling. 5+++++STARS

Dr. Dang is the best dentist I have ever had. I am so happy and relieved to have found her. I have long had difficulty even going for a cleaning for fear of pain and discomfort. No longer! Dr. Dang and her staff truly are gentle and caring as they advertise. They are also great at informing you about everything they are doing along the way. The entire office from it's sparkling clean, light fresh decoration, music, and stunning depictions of nature on the high definition TV makes you feel comfortable, safe and relaxed.

On July 5 I went to Dr.Dang for my periodic eval and cleaning. While there I asked her to check on a recent tooth pain caused by biting down too hard, Dr. Dang was able to quickly identify a more serious problem, a cracked tooth, that was causing the problem . During two subsequent visits in July she was able to alleviate the pain and put me on the path to a lasting solution. Have been a loyal patient for 13 years and couldn't be more pleased with the caring and professional attention that she and her team provide. Highly recommend
