We have updated, state-of-the-art dental equipment which allows our dentist to plan and treat patients with immense precision for predictable outcomes. Dr. Wright enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He decided to become a dentist in 1st grade. At the age of six, he suffered a dental accident that resulted in an after hours visit with the oral surgeon. That experience ended up being very positive with a full recovery and sparked his interest for dentistry. He is fortunate to know what he wanted to be when he grew up from a very young age.
Dr. Wright grew up in Raleigh and attended N.C. State for his undergraduate studies. He received his D.M.D. from the University of Florida in 2014. His favorite part of dentistry is the patient care portion. Whether it be restorative dentistry, difficult extractions, or root canals, he enjoys it all! He is a member of the Raleigh Wake County Dental Society. Dr. Wright spends hours improving his skills through continuing education. He has attended courses to expand his skills in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Wright and his wife, Greyson, live in Raleigh. They have three sons who keep them busy playing outside in the neighborhood or on many different sports teams. In his spare time Dr. Wright enjoys working on projects around the house, biking the greenways with his children, and grilling on his Big Green Egg.

My family has been going to this practice for 16 years. It has always been very customer oriented and prompt service. The ownership changed in the past year and things haven't missed a beat.

I am new to this practice (my previous dentist of 10 years retired) but I've been very happy with my last 2 visits. Dr Wright is very nice and answered all my questions. I have a new hygienist and I love her! She's attentive and very kind. I would recommend this practice!

Great experience at North Ridge Dental. First time meeting Dr. Philip in person, it was because of my implant crown coming off and he worked very quickly to detail all of my options. Second time was for my scheduled cleaning and he was thorough as well as his staff. They identified an area that had been monitored for a while and determine there was some decay. He and his staff worked quickly and precisely to get it fixed and back on my way. Thankful for his honesty, will continue to refer my family and friends to his business.

Dr. Wright and his team do an excellent job! Today I went in for a routine cleaning, and my hygienist was highly skilled and gentle (they're all great!). It was my first time meeting Dr. Wright, who recently took over this practice, and he gave me great advice on some work I want done. I've been to dental practices in the past where they try to sell you things all the time. This is not the case here. I will happily stick with North Ridge Dental because of their high quality, patient-centered care.

This was my first visit to North Ridge Dental and I can say nothing but wonderful things about my experience. From the moment I walked in to the time that I left everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and professional. Right away Dr. Wright was able to put me at ease and to explain everything thoroughly. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice to others.

No one loves going to the Dentist. And I have been going for 50 years now. I walked out of the dentist this past week feeling much better than I anticipated. Denise was my Dental Hygienist and made me feel very comfortable. She took an extra step in our journey together...she took pictures of my back wisdom teeth that were at risk for jeopardizing all my teeth. Denise understands how difficult it is to clean those back teeth, yet she didn't chastise me. She took a picture to show the inflammation that was happening and explained (not with too many clinical terms, thank goodness) that if I didn't use my oral sprayer, the neighboring teeth would be compromised with a potential for no return. The visual and the explanation are very motivating. Thank you, Denise and North Ridge Dental!

A great dentist with a good personality. Doesn't try to upsell you for unnecessary procedures. One complaint the mint chocolate polish is not made with real chocolate.

Dr. Garrett and her staff are all wonderful! My hygienist Ashleigh always does a great job with cleanings, and does such a thorough job. She does a great job of making you feel comfortable and making the experience of going to the dentist feel less awkward. Dr. Garrett is wonderful and kind as well! Definitely a great place.

I've been going to Dr Garrett for close to 20 years when she first opened up her practice and I can't imagine going to anyone else. I have referred her to all my family and friends and everyone loves her and all of the hygienists and office folks.
