Katharine Jones DDS of Fabulous Smiles Dental Center, formally Ralston Dental Care, has reshaped her practice and specializes as a solo Concierge Dentist. 'After more than 20 years of practicing general and cosmetic dentistry I have seen an increase in corporate dental care and high volume dental clinics with multiple dentists creating a lower standard of personalized and time-sensitive services. I have devoted my practice to patients looking for a more enjoyable dental experience. Dr. Jones takes time to understand her patients needs, treat their concerns, and gives each patient a detailed personal treatment plan.

Dentistry is changing. There is a rapid influx of both insurance and corporate dentistry in the dental profession that is changing the professional model we all knew in years past. Today, with insurance and corporate dentistry the bottom line is more important than patient care. How many patients can we see in a day? How fast can procedures be done? At Fabulous Smiles Dental Center, Dr. Jones maintains a one-on-one relationship and treatment history, with ongoing communication that is so critical to successful dental care.

Our newly renovated office is conveniently located at 2100 Carlmont Drive. We are on the corner of Alameda de las Pulgas Avenue, 1 block west of Ralston Avenue, and directly across from the Carlmont Shopping Center. We are also near Hwy 92 and Hwy 280. There is a parking area in front of the office .

Dr. Jones is a true blue Californian having lived in both the Northern and Southern areas. She decided to become a dentist when she noticed that people smiled more when their teeth were healthy and looked fabulous. Originally from Los Angeles, she moved to the University of California at Davis to study Biological Sciences. She furthered her education at the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry getting both a degree in Dental Sciences and a doctorate in Dental Surgery. She is an Alumni member of Delta Sigma Delta Professional Fraternity. She has been a faculty member of the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry since 2012.

Throughout her program she was very active as in bettering the profession through serving as Class President for several years and on numerous committees. For several years, she was the recipient of the Fleming Award given to the most humanitarian person. She has been in private practice for 20 years and has been serving the Belmont community. She received acknowledgment in Aesthetic Dentistry through the Pacific Aesthetic Continuum Program for her dedication to excellence in the art and science of Aesthetic Dentistry. She led her team in the Fortune Practice Program for increasing the optimal care and quality of life of her clients. She actively participates with Flying Doctors, an organization that contributing dental equipment and supplies to needy and remote areas.

She has reached many clients with her special smile, her devoted attention and care. Outside the office, Dr. Jones loves to spend time with her dog hiking, bicycling, kayaking, and paddle boarding. She enjoys organic gardening and creating tasty dishes. She also enjoys traveling to new places and is scuba certified.
