Orthodontics is an incredible profession, and I feel honored to be a part of improving my patients health, function, and quality of life. As a healthcare provider, I feel it is critical to understand how a person's bite functions so I can provide each patient with the best of care. For that reason, I acquired a 3D radiograph machine which provides me with information which cannot be gained from traditional 2D radiographs. I developed a technique, which I discovered using our 3D radiograph machine, which helps orthodontists around the world achieve a balanced occlusion for their patients.
I attend multiple continuing education seminars each year to stay current with the latest techniques. The past 30 years have seen immeasurable advances in orthodontic technology, and it is my duty as my patients trusted healthcare provider to stay at the forefront of those advancements.
I also established the company called ProActive Orthodontics to help educate both dentists and orthodontists about a new finding: the Five Condylar Positions. I have lectured throughout the country on this new technique, which I discovered with our CBCT scan machine.
I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and have been a proud resident of Northbrook for more than 30 years. My wife Carol and I have been blessed with three sons, Jonathan, Kevin, and Brad, and our home is made complete with our dog, Max. My time outside is filled with family, friends, and tennis. Not only do I play, but I also coached our local high school tennis team.
I have always tried to support the community that helped raise my kids by either sponsoring a baseball team, coaching park-affiliated teams, or being an assistant coach on the high school tennis team. Ivealways looked at our community as an extension of our family, and I am happy to help out wherever I can.

Becky is the person who keeps Kaspers Orthodontics running smoothly from day to day. Shes been a vital part of our team for over 20 years; without her knowledge and experience, we would be hard-pressed to create for our patients the level of excellence in treatment they deserve.
By assisting Dr. Kaspers with patients, Agata becomes personally involved in their care and understands what is needed to create the best possible treatment outcome. Agata enjoys working in orthodontics, especially seeing our patients confidence grow as their smiles change, and knowing that each of them feels comfortable coming to Kaspers Orthodontics. Seeing our patients throughout their treatments as they grow and mature is a very rewarding experience for her.
For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for receiving orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.
When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.
Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.
