Dr. Karlin's gentle, open manner will help make the orthodontic experience a real pleasurefor all.A talented orthodontist as well as an excellent listener and communicator, Dr. Karlin cares about every patient in a very personal, sincere way. A proud Colorado native, Dr. Karlin was born and raised in Denver. He graduated from J.K. Mullen High School in southwest Denver before attaining a bachelor 's degree in chemistry from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Dr. Karlin graduated Magna Cum Laude with a DDS degree from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 2004. He then completed a 2-year orthodontic residency and achieved a Master 's in Orthodontics in 2006 at the University of Texas in Houston. Also in 2006, Dr. Karlin received his certification from the American Board of Orthodontics Upon certification he earned the certificate of the Boardand the title 'Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics' signifying the highest plateau of attainment in education, evaluation, excellence, and ethics. In 2012, Dr. Karlin was re-certified by the boardthrough 2022.

Following his two years of study in Texas, Dr. Karlin returned to Colorado to practice in his favorite state. Dr. Karlin and his wife Stephanie (also a dentist) are happily settled in Highlands Ranch.He opened Karlin Orthodontics early in 2007 in the nearbyHighlands Ranch Town Center.In January 2013, Dr. Karlin and Stephanie became the proud and excited parents of Sarah Grace, and inNovember 2016 they were blessed with the joyful arrival of their 2nd daughter, Emily Marie. Emily is now 5 years old and big sister Sarah turned 9 in January.

In addition to Dr. Karlin's passion for orthodontics andhis patients, Dr. Karlin has a love of nature and an enthusiasm for outdoor activities, especially in the nearby Colorado Rocky Mountains. His active lifestyle includes snowboarding, hiking, biking, and mountain climbing. Recent challenges include climbing Mt. Rainier in Washington state and Mt. Kilamanjaro in Tanzania, Africa.

He has always been an avid sports fan and he supports the local sports teams, especially the Mullen Mustangs, the University of Colorado Buffs, the Denver Broncos, and the Colorado Avalanche. Dr. Karlin also enjoys keeping up with his patients' involvement in school athletics and extracurricular activities.

Board-Certification Dr. Karlin is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO), the only orthodontic specialty certifying board recognized by the American Dental Association. Less than 50% of practicing orthodontists in the United States have taken the steps necessary to become board-certified.

All-digital office Through our use of advanced technology, we are able to offer higher quality care to our patients. Computer technology enables us to focus on our patients and not on tracking paper files. Additionally, digital imaging and digital radiography (x-rays) minimize exposure to harmful radiation, and also help provide patients and parents with a better understanding of treatment options. Overall, we believe that a paperless office and digital imaging enable higher accuracy of health records, better communication with other dental professionals sharing patient care, and higher quality treatment.

Dr. Karlin not only improves the aesthetics of your smile, his treatment improves bad bites (malocclusions) resulting from tooth or jaw misalignment. Patients with malocclusions tend to have a harder time brushing, flossing, andchewing, as well as TMJ soreness. Additionally,we will give you and your general dentist regular updates on your oral hygiene and health. I was born and raised in Michigan, and a proud graduate of Michigan State University. My husband Brad and I have three amazing children who keep us beyond busy with all their sports and activities, but we wouldn't have it any other way. I also enjoyreading, writing, volleyball, basketball, being outdoors and especially the beach.

I joined Karlin Orthodontics at the beginning of November 2019. The relationships within the team have truly impressed me and make me excited to come to work every day. I have always worked in customer service, so being the initial interaction with patients when they walk in is something I truly enjoy.

I am a Colorado native, born in Colorado Springs and raised in Parker. I have an amazing daughter who always keeps me on my toes. In my free time I enjoy hiking, going for drives, exploring new eateries, doing hair, or simply getting cozy on the couch watching movies.

I joinedtheKarlin Orthodontics team in June of2017.For5 years prior to that, I worked asan orthodontic assistant in Missouri. What I like the best about working in orthodontics is the relationship that we form with each patient while creating a new beautiful smile for each one of them!

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Colorado for a more exciting life. In my free time I enjoy camping, hiking and exploring the outdoors. My hobbies include touring and visiting different microbreweries, and I am looking forward to experiencing everything that Colorado has to offer!

After 10 years of being an Orthodontist in Mexico, I moved to Colorado following my love and now husband. I met Dr. Karlin when we brought my stepdaughter in for her treatment, and I just loved the way he treats all of his patients, especially his professionalism and the environment in the office. He invited me to join his wonderful team in 2021, and I feel very lucky for this opportunity.

I'm from Mexico City and moved to the United States about 3 years ago. I have two amazing stepchildren and 2 beautiful dogs. I love to dance to all kinds of music, sing (even if I do not know the lyrics), travel, cook and go shopping.I enjoy being around people and sharing my culture with others.
