She is happy to be back serving her community and helping people by putting their best smile forward.

My daughter has moved to North Carolina and on her first visit to a dentist there, the dentist commented that not only were her teeth the cleanest he had seen, but that her "previous dentist did an excellent job maintaining (her) original teeth around the fillings". Getting praise from other professionals in the field speaks volumes. Thank you for the excellent work Dr. Karl!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lawson and the rest of the team. I am normally extremely anxious about going to the dentist and everyone there always puts me at ease right when I walk through the door. I recently began my Invisalign journey and Dr. Lawson answered all of my questions and more without making me feel embarrassed or silly, and I felt so relieved when I left the office. If going to the dentist is normally something you dread, I encourage you to try their office. You won't regret it!

Dr. Lutes & Dr. Lawson and the entire staff is so friendly and caring. Everyone cares about your well being and comfort during any procedures that you have done. They explain everything on all the work that they are performing. I was very anxious when having a crown and they really took my feelings into consideration. Dr. Lutes has a very soft touch and I was completely relaxed. Thanks for taking care of me!

I made an appointment at Dr.Lutes and Dr.Lawson's practice, on the advise of a good friend, after moving to this area. This practice exceeded my expectations. There is a calm friendliness as you enter the office. The staff is professional, knowledgable and attentive. All the staff introduced themselves, which has never happened to me before. My exam was comprehensive from the initial oral cancer screening to the dental cleaning. All concerns were discussed with me immediately which I appreciated. This office functions as a team /family with mutual respect for each other. Dr. Lutes and Dr. Lawson have a practice centering on high standards of excellent dental care in a caring manner. Thank you for being my new dentists!

FUTURE DENTAL PATIENTS BEWARE!!! I would like to start this off by saying it is not my intention to hurt anyone by my truthful review, This is an attempt to help, or warn people of what I consider to be a huge question of ethics, or lack of on the part of Dr Lutz. This is based on my experience with my visit on July 8,2021. Being ethical is like being pregnant either you are or you aren't ,you cannot be a little. I went to see Dr Lutz after a bad experience with another dentist and due to pain I was having suspected a crown wasn't properly placed on my tooth. Everyone at the office seemed very nice. The FIRST thing Dr Lutz said to me before he looked in my mouth was "he was not going to criticize" meaning he was not going to say anything bad about the other dentists work. I knew before I went, that some dentists are not willing to as a courtesy, speak badly about other dentists work, and when he said this, I felt very worried. Dr Lutz said he felt everything was fine with the other dentists work and ultimately the issue was with the tooth itself, "starting to go south". I mentioned to him that I have pain in the tooth itself as well as a very bad pain in the gum area below that is radiating and I notice it most when I eat. He said he didnt know why I had the pain when I ate. The next day as I was eating and felt awful pain in the gum area I started thinking about his first words to me, about not criticizing and it really started to bother me thinking he was one of the dentists that simply will not say anything negative about another dentists work, and now I am worried that something very serious is wrong in my tooth with the new crown and it is affecting the gum area below. I email Dr Lutz and ask him about his assessment in such a way, that if he stands behind his words, on the work done by the other dentist was done properly, and tells me basically the same thing again, in writing, well then I will have to believe him and really would have made me feel a lot better mentally if nothing else. ( As a side note I would like to say, due to bad experiences in the past, I audio record every professional meeting I have. And yes I do have my appointment with Dr Lutz audio recorded, but he did not know that, and I wanted so badly just to know he stood by and believed what he told me, so I could feel safe that something serious isn't pending.) I get a response after 4 days and when its a phone call/voicemail from his assistant saying he isn't in and wont be back until the next day and suggests I go to an emergency dentist. Since I am at work and cannot call, I email back and say it is very odd that I am mentioning the same symptoms I had when Dr Lutz saw me, and now I am being told I should see a an emergency dentist. I also say I am willing to wait to get a response from Dr Lutz and would they forward my Xray to me. I get an email with my xray and now 6 days later still have not heard anything back from Dr Lutz about my email and questions/concerns. I also find this very odd considering I got an email after my visit with his email address for just such a circumstance, telling me if I have any questions about my visit to email, the Dr for assistance. I would tell everyone I know and anyone reading this to avoid this dentist office. I feel very skeptical about any dentist who cares more about protecting another dentist than a patient sitting in his chair in very bad pain and afraid from what last dentist did! FUTURE DENTAL PATIENTS BEWARE!!!

I can't say enough about the care and professionalism I received from Dr. Lutes and his team. From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted warmly with several hellos, and then escorted to the dental office & chair. His assistance and technicians were courteous, kind, and professional. throughout the visit and procedure, they outlined everything they were going to do, explaining it in a way that I could easily understand. They handled me with a gentleness and care that put my mind at ease. I knew instantly I was in excellent hands. Dental appointments have always been a scary thing for me in the past but Dr. Lutes and his team really alleviated all of my fears. Dr. Lutes Himself treated me professionally but also with the kindness that made me feel like a person and not just "another patient." I was so impressed I scheduled my next appointment upon my exit. I strongly recommend anyone else to do the same. Absolutely one of the top dentists in the greater Cincinnati area! Thank you Dr. Lutes and your entire staff!!

Dr. Karl is great and his staff is the best. They took such precautions for me and my husband, coming in for a cleaning during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was worried, but seeing the gloves, masks, extra cleaning, and still being able to see some smiling faces :), it was a good experience.

Okay, this place exceeded any expectation I've had or thought a dentist office should be. I just moved to Erlanger area and I feel like there is a dentist office on every corner so i decided to go to google reviews to weed out the bad one and there was only one place with 4 stars or better, this place Karl Lutes. The people there are beyond friendly and so attentive to detail. I went there for a routine cleaning and to fix a slightly chipped tooth. The took care of everything and didn't even charge me for filing my tooth down. They had a pretty cool tool that took individual pictures of each tooth to compare it in the future if anything were to change. None the less, they made me feel like I was a super star lol I'm a 24 year old man and had been to plenty of other dentist but still I was in awe with the treatment I received there. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist. Side note they also sent me text wishing me a happy birthday

I went to Dr. Lutes for a 2nd opinion. He was my dentist 12 years ago. After the exam, I was more at ease with him about the procedure that I need. I will reach out to Dr. Lutes when I am ready to schedule the procedure. Thanks also to his friendly and efficient office staff.
