Karl Hoffman is a Washington native who grew up on Bainbridge Island. He graduated with a bachelors degree from the University of Washington in 1986 and received his doctor of dental surgery in 1990, also from the University of Washington. After dental school he spent 4 years in the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and served in several different locations around the country. After returning to Washington, in 1995, Dr. Hoffman taught at the UW dental school for two years and started a private practice here in Thurston County. He is active in study clubs that meet every month and in several dental academies. He has completed hundreds of hours of advanced training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
He has volunteered from 2 to 10 days per year at the Olympia Union Gospel Mission Dental Clinic in Olympia since 2004. He has spearheaded the formation and implementation of the Thurston County Dental Access Network (TCDAN). We launched the program in March of 2007 and have made significant gains in the access to basic dental care for impoverished people in our county. We now have over 20 dental offices accepting referrals from the Olympia Union Gospel Mission, and we have over 20 dentists volunteering at the Mission. I am so lucky to work with the dedicated people on our board and at the Mission and the giving dentists in our community.
Dr. Hoffmanhas been married 25 years, has two children in college and is active in his church. He has sponsored numerous youth sports teams, other youth activities, donates time to raising funds for such groups as Special Olympics, and has sponsored a local Veterans Appreciation Dinner for the past four years.
Holly is our office manager and financial coordinator. She has over 20 years experience in the dental field. She is our 'insurance expert' and will help you with any financial or scheduling. Holly is very much a people person and is committed to making your experience at our practice as 'painless' as possible.
Adilia is a registered dental hygienist who received her Bachelors of Science at the Oregon Health Sciences University in 1994. She is committed to quality patient care and a positive experience when you receive care in our office.
Jennifer is a certified dental assistant who graduated from South Puget Sound Community College in 1994. She enjoys being back in the dental field after taking time off to stay home with her two daughters. She enjoys getting to know the patients and making sure their care and comfort is always the number one priority.
Hilary is a registered dental hygienist, and a dedicated professional. She has been told by many that she minimizes their discomforts and anxieties because of her demeanor and her soft hands. She will provide you with excellent care, while you feel at ease, and her goal is to leave you wanting to come back.
Tiffany is a certified dental assistant who graduated from Renton Technical College. She has over 20 years of dental assisting experience. Tiffany grew up locally in Rainier, Washington. She is an avid fisherwoman and has two teenage daughters. She is here to make your experience in our office as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Usually found working alongside Dr. Hoffman, Tiffany helps with many of the procedures and treatments youll receive at our office. She is a dedicated individual who looks forward to building a relationship with you and your family.
