I would give her "ZERO Stars" because she pretended to be my friend and slept with my husband!!! I wouldn't trust a deceitful fraudulent person like this with my family!

I don't know Dr.Petty but after reading these reviews I think people need to know the true facts before insinuating the cause of their medical/teeth problems. I've been in the dental field for over 30 yrs now and I know how patients tend to blame the dentist for their issues instead of blaming themselves. I know also there are good and bad dentist but what I'm reading on these reviews the dentist is NOT at fault for these circumstances. The person who passed away from an infection after having 12 teeth extracted already had an infection when entering the dental office because when having to have several teeth remove he/she most likely had periodontal disease with extensive decay therefore had infection in the mouth for a long period of time (doesn't happen overnight). This would of been neglect on the patient. The person who claims the dentist caused their tooth having to be pulled after placing a filling in it a few years ago is so in the wrong. The dentist will always try to save a tooth if possible so the most conservative treatment is to place a filling or sedative filling hoping to see if the nerve will react in a positive result. Sometimes it will not and the other options would be root canal or extraction. If the tooth is restorable a root canal would be the better result but expensive because the tooth would have to have a core build up and crown afterwards. So in your case you opted to extract. Implants are good to replace a tooth To the person who said the Dr. didn't want to pull your split wisdom tooth... where I work we refer to the Oral Surgeon for extractions because it can be very complicating to remove teeth especially wisdom teeth. She was being honest. Again, I have never met Dr.Petty but I'm tired of people blaming others without knowing true facts. This is her profession and I'm sure all of you would not want someone to talk about your ability to perform your profession without knowing the facts. Think before you speak.

My wisdom tooth split, went to get it pulled but instead she told me she was scared to pull it, gave me the run around on Friday and the following Monday and then wanted me to buy some $18 mouthwash after her assistant completely insults my intelligence by trying to tell me how to brush and floss.

DO NOT USE HER! MY FAMILY MEMBER PASSED AWAY FROM INFECTION IN HER MOUTH AFTER THIS DENTIST PULLED 12 OF HER TEETH! SHE PASSED AWAY 4 DAYS AFTER HAVING THEM PULLED. AUTOPSY HAS PROVEN THIS! DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU PLAN ON DYING ANY TIME SOON!

I went to her about 2 years ago and the only reason I'm writing a review now is because the tooth she put a filling in had to be pulled recently because she put the filing on my nerve. Also when I was in the chair her and her assistant were very unprofessional talking over my mouth about their personal lives and she was drilling in my mouth not even looking at what she was doing. So because she was too busy talking to her assistant to watch what she was doing I had to have a perfectly good tooth pulled. I would never recommend her to anyone.
