I am grateful for Dr. Winterfield-Dodds' professionalism and honesty when caring for my family's dental health. She has been our dentist for more than 10 years. My 3 children have all had unique situations with their teeth that she has thoughtfully addressed or recommended specialists who she worked closely with to give the kids the best outcome. I trust her advice and appreciate how she and her entire staff have created a caring relationship with our entire family.

I held off on posting a rating/comment here. But after learning that others had a similar bad experience, I decided to share mine. I went for what I thought was a cavity. Turns out, I needed a root canal. The work was done in 2 visits. On the 2nd visit I told the dentist that the gum area where the work was done was extremely sore. I asked if it was normal and most importantly, when will the pain/discomfort go away. The dentist seemed the least bit concerned and said if I keep complaining (her exact words), she'll refer me to a specialist who will shave my gums down. I got the impression she was using a scare tactic to get me to stop complaining (the tactic worked). Of course I didn't want to do that so I said never mind and hoped for the best. Welp, it's been 1 1/2 years, and my gums still hurt every single day. I finally got the guts to go to another dentist & he said the work was done all wrong and proceeded to suggest surgery. I'm so leary of dentists right now that I haven't gone back to see anyone. I know I'll have to deal with this sooner than later. I'm so upset that this happened to me and hope no one else has to go through this.

Always the best! Great people, comfy chairs, and a surprisingly nice bathroom. I love the staff here. I recommend them to everyone.

I had fillings done here and the first one was great. When I did the others they were not just like the other reviewer my bite was off and is still off, instead of fixing it she made me feel like I was imagining it like I went into my mouth and did the dental work. After doing the last of the filling she failed to go over the teeth to ensure that the filling was not caught in between and she did not polish it either. I knew that because she did that with the first filling. Dentist and Doctors who think they are God and they dont make mistakes is not okay. You are messing with peoples health and way of life. Its ok we are human and will make mistakes however its what we to to fix the mistakes.

Dr. Winterfield-Dodds is wonderful! She is so gentle , thorough, and professional! And the office staff is amazing! This is the only Dental office that I would recommend to friends and family!

I had two caps put in simultaneously at this office and I've never felt such pain in my life. Afterwards, I noticed that my bite did not feel right and my neighboring teeth felt pressure - of which I alerted the dentist. I also thought I was seeing a gap under one of them. She stated "There's no gap" and I was "thinking about it too much" regarding my bite and the pressure I was feeling. I avoided going to the dentist for a year after this experience. A year later, I learned from a different dentist that there is a gap under one of the caps. The other cap I believe didn't fit properly and was forced into place, putting pressure on the adjacent teeth. She also ground away at the tooth above to make the cap fit better, making that tooth now sensitive. I am reminded of this almost every day because the pain is still there over two years later and my bite is not right. I should have been taken seriously with what I noticed after the procedure. At some point I have to get this all fixed.

I just became a patient of Dr. Winterfield-Dodds. The staff, both dentist and hygienist, were wonderful: courteous and friendly, detail-oriented and provided a deep cleaning, and took the time to relate. Of note, their hygienist was the first dental professional -- dentist or hygienist -- who took the time to notice and scrape off old cement on a front tooth from my braces. It's bothered me for over 30 years! I'm bringing my whole family over to this practice.

Honestly the best dentist I've ever been to with the best staff. Honest, to the point, friendly, work well with you. Dr. Winterfield does great work, gently. As someone who has had A LOT of work at a lot of places, I'm really glad to have found this office.

I have to say, I've had a few terrible experiences with dentists in my past that have fueled my reluctance to make annual appointments and keep up with my dental exams. My wife convinced me to go to Dr. Winterfield this year and of course I knew there would be some issues that's needed to be taken care of. Right out of the gate I needed a root canal. As I stressed and let my mind go crazy due to some past experiences I sucked it up and said I have to be a positive example for my kids. This place 1. Makes you feel like your a family member that is being cared for. 2. From the hygienists (Ally!) who was very gentle and caring to Dr. Winterfield herself who was detailed, thorough, communicative and amazing I'm ready to make going to her practice part of my life. In the past I have had cavities filled were I winced in pain when a dentist hit a nerve. Today's root canal...I felt nothing. Can't thank her and her staff enough for their professionalism and brilliant care. I think I might start looking forward to going to a dentists if my experiences stay this way. Thank you all again and can't wait to see you next time. Dr. Winterfield said, we are going to be great friends and I feel like she's intent on keeping her word.
