I unfortunately have to amend this review. Dr. Burns placed a crown on my molar 3 years ago that has popped off 3 times already. I don't want to pay every time this faulty crown needs to be glued back on repeatedly, and I was hoping she would offer another solution, or how to fix the work. But when I voiced that she yelled at me "I don't have time for this!" and proceeded to immediately tip my chair back and aggressively glue the crown back in the most painful way possible. Frankly it felt abusive. Her staff are all very nice, as always, and the high turnover now makes sense. Original review follows... I wish I had found Dr. Burns sooner! This was the first truly painless dentistry I ever had. And she didn't try to sell me unnecessary treatments, like other dentists. Great staff, super clean & comfortable space. Basically the whole office is a class act.

This was the best annual dental exam and cleaning my husband and I have received in over 20 years of dental services. All of the front end office staff are exceptionally courteous and professional. Dr Shoopak, her assistant, and the hygienist are very thorough, using the latest technology and actually treated me with respect and dignity; and not just like some other patient or cog in a factory wheel. The entire experience was outstanding and I highly recommend this team of professionals to others. You will not be disappointed!

I just moved to the area and found Dr. Burns via Google reviews. I am so glad I did! Every bit of my experience there has been fantastic from calling to make my appointment to their very thorough first appointment process to the excellent cleaning. I left feeling that each person I spoke to was incredibly knowledgeable and cared a great deal. Plus, they have a great, comfortable facility. We all need to go to the dentist, why not go to one that is clearly a cut above the rest? (I mean, I am leaving a review about a dental visit; it has to be good!)

Based off of the reviews I thought this should be a good experience, however, after having a lot of dental work done at this office I was constantly in pain. I came back twice to see what was causing the pain and they did nothing that helped. I visited a few other dentists to get different opinions and ended up needing to have all the work redone and am no longer in pain.

I had been looking for a kind, gentle, and personable dentist for a long time. Well, I found her! Dr. Burns was fantastic. She explained everything so well and made me feel I could trust her from the beginning. I also had a great experience during my x-rays with Janice. She was also so kind and personable. Will be referring others for sure.

Dr. Shoopak was great!! I've been searching for a new dentist and was referred to Dr. Burns practice in St. Pete. Great choice if you're looking for a family-friendly and convenient location! I was nervous at first, but everyone made me feel so welcome and at ease. Looking forward to my next few visits.

I love Dr Burns and the staff! Everyone from the time you walk in, throughout the procedure and when leaving, makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. This has by far been the best dental experience for me and I'm so happy that I stumbled across this office years ago!

I recently finished a long process of getting crowns on six of my front teeth. Dr. Burns and her associates did a great job. The teeth look terrific. With procedures and temporary bridges over the course of about six weeks, I was in the office quite a few times. Here's the thing: I didn't MIND GOING TO THE DENTIST. I actually kind of looked forward to it, even though a lot of the work was anything but pleasant. Her office staff and assistants are first-rate. I was a high-maintenance patient, I'll admit it, but they took phenomenal care of me. Here's the backstory: I was in need of major dental work recently -- on my way to a nasty toothache -- and, amid the COVID-19 crisis, Dr. Burns willingly treated me. Because mine was an emergency situation and she has limited office hours, I texted her directly and she was always prompt with her responses. Did I mentioned she's a terrific dentist? Dr. Burns has an energetic but gentle demeanor, which is especially good for an anxious soul like me. She uses her patients' names, which is one of those small things that really matters to me. ("You're doing great, Eric.") She lets you know what's about to happen next. Janna, who has assisted on my procedures, is a calming presence and it's obvious she's a skilled assistant -- even if, from the chair with my mouth open, I couldn't see it. Dr. Burns' practice is next level. The waiting room is classy and welcoming. I'm glad I found her -- especially seeing as I needed serious dental work during a pandemic.

Everyone was so friendly and Dr. Shoopak explained things to me really well. She helped me understand exactly what had to be done and why including showing me with pictures and my x-rays. This is unlike any dentist I've had before.
