Alireza Karbassi, DMD, MSD Dr. Alireza Karbassi received his dental degree from Boston University. He completed his post-graduate training in the orthodontic department of Temple University, earning a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science of Dentistry. He has successfully treated over 6,000 patients.Dr. Karbassi has benefited from several continuing education courses in temporomandibular joint disorder, and he is well qualified to treat patients with TMJ symptoms.Dr. Karbassi is a member of both the Akron and Medina Dental Societies. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Tiffany Practice Manager Tiffany is the Practice Manager for all of our locations. For over 18 years she has been a valued asset to our practice. She attended Manatee Community College, and currently she lives in the Akron area with her family. Her knowledge is limitless handling tough insurance puzzles, negotiations with insurance companies to get the best benefit for the patients, and over all making sure that the practice runs smoothly.
Jennifer Clinical Lead and Treatment Coordinator Jennifer has been helping perfect patient smiles for over five years. She attended Stark State College and is a registered dental radiographer. Jennifer is responsible for training the clinical staff and new patient education. Her knowledge is unlimited, and she is a valued asset to this practice. Jennifer lives in the Akron area with her husband and daughter.

I can't even give it a 1 star!!!!!! The worst office I've been at. Where do I begin? I went to their downtown location and staff forgot about us twice and admitted it so we waited over an hour for our appointment then I requested to get seen at his cuyahoga falls location our next visit. We get to the falls location and they're unsure why we are there because the staff forgot to transfer our file over (3 weeks later). Then the staff had issues with my daughters molding and took 3 staff members to figure out and when sitting in the office with the manager to set up an appointment to get her braces actually on I asked my daughter if her visit hurt. She said no and I said that's good. The dr proceeded to call me a terrible mother because I didn't seem so sympathetic. She wasn't in pain so I didn't think I needed to be. Then when we were setting up the time to get braces he continued to act like I didn't even need to be in the office and that he didn't want me there and to drop off my child and come back later?! No I wanted to sit beside her and hold her hand if needed! Regardless terrible staff and a rude doctor with awful bedside manner. I ended up going to a different dr and calling my insurance to not approve this man and his office for my child and made a report against his office with my insurance. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE AT ALL! There are so many offices out there even if you're on Medicaid.

If I could rate the support staff I would give them 4/5, overall very friendly and helpful. The main doctor however is a different story. He is rude, not timely at all and again JUST RUDE AND DEMEANING! The way he treated my niece and sister today, we'd never recommend anyone to go here! Medicare/Medicaid does not equate to being a bad parent! If this wasn't the number one place the insurance was pushing, we would definitely be going elsewhere. The doctor needs to work on his MANNERS.

Very grateful Karbassi is a wonderful orthodontist that tremendously helped my smile get to where I needed to be. Everyone here is so fun and good at their jobs. He isn't just a pretty face.

For years I have struggled with my smile. I want to thank Dr. Karbassi's office for helping me. Dr. Karbassi's staff is professional and friendly. They schedule appointments that are convenient and begin on time or ahead of schedule. Tiffany, the office manager, works hard to make sure the office is run smoothly and professionally. Dr. Karbassi is a highly skilled professional who cares about the welfare of his patients. I would highly recommend his office.

Please read the reviews before you make an appointment here. I was traumatized by this place. None of the people that work here deserve to be in healthcare. The whole place is unorganized and everyone walks around clueless with a horrible attitude. The upfront payment in cash is sketchy and they would not give me a refund even though they didn't get close to finishing the job I paid them for. Karbassi Orthodontics is a scam of a business. do not waste your time or money on this miserable joke of a business.

All of the employees were great and my teeth turned out really well! I had a few mishaps and they were handled professionally. Even through covid everything was handled well!

I am so grateful for Dr. Karbassi and his staff!! They were so friendly, professional and always explained everything I needed to know!! My son's teeth are so beautiful and straight!! We both couldn't be happier

Karbassi is rude, bed side manner needs readjusted. He is very demeaning & condescending ;medicaid does not equate trash or subpar. FYI some get medicaid due to a disability, not poverty. Supporting staff was nice & he was EXTREMELY rude to them as well. There are other places you can go

The staff is wonderful! I did not care for Dr Karbasi he wanted to pull unnecessary teeth. I did not agree with his findings and got a second opinion. He wants to pull teeth charge your insurance all this money. He strikes me as money hungry and will take advantage of you
