Alireza Karbassi, DMD, MSD Dr. Alireza Karbassi received his dental degree from Boston University. He completed his post-graduate training in the orthodontic department of Temple University, earning a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science of Dentistry. He has successfully treated over 6,000 patients.Dr. Karbassi has benefited from several continuing education courses in temporomandibular joint disorder, and he is well qualified to treat patients with TMJ symptoms.Dr. Karbassi is a member of both the Akron and Medina Dental Societies. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Tiffany Practice Manager Tiffany is the Practice Manager for all of our locations. For over 18 years she has been a valued asset to our practice. She attended Manatee Community College, and currently she lives in the Akron area with her family. Her knowledge is limitless handling tough insurance puzzles, negotiations with insurance companies to get the best benefit for the patients, and over all making sure that the practice runs smoothly.
Jennifer Clinical Lead and Treatment Coordinator Jennifer has been helping perfect patient smiles for over five years. She attended Stark State College and is a registered dental radiographer. Jennifer is responsible for training the clinical staff and new patient education. Her knowledge is unlimited, and she is a valued asset to this practice. Jennifer lives in the Akron area with her husband and daughter.

After coming here for the last 5 or so years, I was finally able to have a perfect smile again since I was 6 years old! Though sometimes they are a little rough, their service has way exceeded my expectations!

Fixed a tooth that was in the roof of my mouth and now is gone and straight teeth as they could be. Great experience, loved the nurses

One star is entirely too many for this place. Our 1st and last visit. The Dr is extremely rude, doesn't have any bed side manners at all! No gloves were ever used, no hands were washed between patients, I know because the Dr jumped from the patient in front of our room to our room, and thought he was gonna put his unwashed hands close to my daughter. The Dr doesn't explain anything to you. He's mainly concerned what insurance you have and once he hears which one you have the list of things "wrong" gets longer. He is rude to the kids, doesn't introduce himself, he yelled at a staff member because he tripped (didn't fall) and yelled at her while she was taking Care of a patient.. there's no way I'd ever go back there, would never recommend care for anyone there. The staff isn't that friendly either... if there is anywhere else you could go, I'd recommend this being your absolute last resort...

Rude staff doesn't even deserve one star, once he talked about gluing the kids down "because they wouldn't stop moving" and one of the staff agreed, the orthodontics is do rude if you ask him question or give him details he just tells you in a very mad/annoyed tone "am I the doctor or are you" and ofc I said you but he just said "OK then shut up" and if you try to talk back he will say "i'm done" what kind of doctor says that like what the hell! He also made my daughter's tooth grow crooked and tried to say "it's suppose to be like that" he also yelled at one of his staff when my daughter threw up doing that teeth mold and when she went to change we found her crying in the bathroom. Horrible orthodontics and rude to his staff, don't go here unless you have to!

Nothing like feeling unwanted. First visit to see what they could do and he spent maybe a total of 5 mins with us. Then talking about finances loud that everyone heard it. Also was worried about his check from the county and his credit card coming In the mail verse talking to the 4 kids sitting in each of the chairs. Thought he was a little rough with my daughter and him tilting her head hard.

It's very suspicious when an office will not provide a price list upfront for services, but itemizes a bill if you decide to transfer for each service preformed. Essentially this gives Dr.Karbassi the ability to change prices inflating as needed to refund you as little as possible. Also, Dr Karbassi is EXTREMELY rude and loses patience quickly when questioned.

One star is too much for this office. This is the least professional office I have ever seen. The nurse that assisted was all over the place, seemed to be disoriented and was overly aggressive with the procedure of photo taking. Doctor was extremely rude to say the least! He did not give any guidance on process or understanding. Made us feel very uncomfortable. No barriers between patient chairs either. We will not be going back.

The only reason I rate it high stars is because the work is phenomenal. On the other hand, the staff there are treated so bad by the orthodontist, especially the new staff that are training. I feel awful for them because they are the sweetest crew I have ever seen and then they get yelled at by there boss for little things that they can hardly control.
