Had been to three dentists prior to Dr. Kara who all failed to diagnose my extreme tooth pain that was keeping me up at night. He performed emergency treatment the same day I cold called his office out of desperation. Following a few more visits, my first root canal was complete and I was finally able to smile without pain. On top of the quick and attentive help, the cap was perfectly color matched. His partner Myrna who handles reception is very empathetic and kind. Can't recommend this practice enough.

He only cleaned with the water pik tool. He was not gentle either. I have had that tool used on me numerous times and never felt pain, ever! He said he doesn't believe in the brushing if not needed. He was lazy and rushed me, with only one other patient after me. I think it was because I had state insurance so maybe he doesn't get paid as much as with a premium insurance.

Dr. Kara and Myrna are great. They really helped me out a lot. Kara Dental Group is a small practice but its amazing due to the fact they take their time to get to know their patients. Dr. Kara really saved me from a bad Job and it was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist. Unfortunately I recently switched insurance companies and aren't under my provider and I hate it but if you are thinking about coming here you should! 100%. as previously mentioned in some reviews he takes his time to explain everything to you and you understand what he is working on so you never look like a Deer in the headlights. Thank you Kara Dental for a short experience to last a life time!

Dr. Kara saved me from the trouble of getting my wisdom teeth unnecessarily removed. At a previous office, I received unclear x rays where I was told my wisdom teeth were impacted. After going to Dr. Kara for a pano, I was lucky to find that all my wisdom teeth were straight and not impacted at all. He explained everything clearly and perfectly. If it weren't for him, I would be receiving an unnecessary procedure.

Very disappointed! I scheduled 2 cleaning appointments, as new patients, back in the beginning of September for the end of October. For me and my son. ( explaining very clearly that I have a special needs child and asked if they could handle it, which I was informed that they could.) 1st, I never got a confirmation call, upon arriving I noticed there was no elevator and I had my 4 year old (with special needs) and my 1 year old in a stroller. When I got to the door to call and ask if there was and elevator I was told to walk up the hill to a parking lot to the entrance. Why wasn't I told that when scheduling the appointment? I parked a couple of blocks away and walked. When I walked in the office the woman at the desk said, "today we will not be doing any cleanings due to covid". I asked why is wasnt called and informed since I pulled my son out of school early to take him. She did not have an answer. She then proceeded to reprimand my child for walking around. Mind you there was no one else in the front office. I explained that he has autism and explained that when I called. We were then taken in the back where the Dr.( who was very nice) looked in my sons mouth with the mirror for 2 seconds and he said that everything looked good and asked if I had any questions. We spoke a minute then we left. I was NEVER even put in the chair. When checking out I was being very nice and said that I would call to schedule real cleanings when they were ready to do so. The woman at the desk then said to me, "please, please, next time you come please come alone." Well needless to say I was fuming and very politely explained that the Dr. was very nice but this office was not a good fit for us. The way we were treated was disgusting. Especially having been in the business for the past 11 years as a dental office manager however, was not working at the moment due to maternity leave and covid. I am currently waiting to hear back from them to make sure they DO NOT bill my insurance so I can take my son to a dentist who is doing cleanings. I have asked several of my other offices if they were currently doing cleanings and they informed me that they were. I will pay out of pocket to take my son to a respectable doctor.

I was very disappointed with the service for many reasons: (1) waited 2 months for a visit (2) upon leaving VM, it takes a long time to get a response (3) front desk staff receptionist did not alert me to the fact the wellness visit doesn't include dental cleaning (4) after x-ray/checkup, dentist gave the impression that due to Covid -19, cleanings are no longer performed which is totally false. No where on CDC website does it state that and to fact check even more, I called 3 other dental offices in the area and they all perform cleanings. After 2 months of waiting for this appointment, I now have to start the process all over again with a new dentist. Very upset I had to pull my kids out of school only to get this disappointment.

Dr. Kara and his wife are wonderful. Thoughtful, informed, kind, and skilled. I never thought I would find a local dentist who communicated so well, does a spectacular job on my teeth, and saved me thousands of dollars (and pain!) with his honesty and integrity.

The place is very nice and so is the service, but having to wait a month everytime to get an appt is absurd.

Dr. Kara is the best dentist I have ever dealt with. He is honest and academic and very keen on dental integrity and looks forward to a long-term relationship with his clients instead of seeking a quick win. He saved my 2 teeth from route canal and made a double effort to clean the caries well and take measurements of crowns with high professionalism .. He is up to the level of artist sculptor .. I am very grateful to know him and recommend everyone to deal with him. Thank you Doctor.

Love this place! What i love the most is that the doctor honest! I had came from another dentist who said i needed 2 fillings. Dr. Kara is not like other dentists! He was honest and said my teeth were in great shape and did not need the fillings that other dentist said i needed!! He is so patient with me and my fear. In fact he makes me feel so comfortable that my fear has reduced significantly! Overall the service is great! The office team is friendly! And the facility is beautiful and super clean! I recommend this dentist to everyone!!

I have only had positive experiences at Kara Dental group. Dr. Kara is professional, knowledgeable and takes his time to do the work. My teeth have never looked better. I go for regular cleanings and did Invisalign through this office. Dr. Kara is the only practice I would trust! I highly recommend him!
