Dr. Conry was accepted into the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and entered immediately after graduating with a degree in Psychology and pre-medical sciences from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
As a new dentist, she moved to North Dakota for an an unusual opportunity to open a dental clinic within the hospital of Cando, in Towner County. The closest specialists were over 100 miles away, so the needs she encountered demanded competency in most areas of dentistry, and skills developed rapidly. The practice grew quickly. Upon completing her contract, she accepted a full-time offer from Park Dental in Minnesota.
While working there she began teaching part-time in the prosthodontic department of the dental school of the U of M. It was professionally rewarding to work with the third and fourth year dental students, who were always inquisitive and intellectually challenging.
In the early 2000s, she moved to Duluth with her husband, pediatric dentist, Dr. John Conry and has enjoyed practicing dentistry here ever since. Her primary focus is on gentle, preventative, excellent dentistry, that exceed the expectations of her patients. General dentistry satisfies her broad range of interests, including surgery, implants, crowns, bridges, porcelain laminate veneers, and beautiful metal-free restorations, completed gently and carefully.

I absolutely HATE the dentist and teeth. I put off going to the dentist for almost 10 years until I started having pretty bad tooth pain and couldn't put it off anymore. I had so much anxiety I almost didn't even go to the appt. I had called every dentist in the area that took my insurance, explained to them that I was SUPER anxious about the whole dentist experience and asked what my options were for medication/laughing gas/whatever. Every other dentist office basically blew me off and said if it wasn't a serious procedure I "would be fine" EXCEPT for Dr. Conry's office. The receptionist was so helpful, and I was able to make an appointment for an exam within two weeks, and she reassured me that I was in good hands. At my initial appointment, Dr. Conry and everyone else at the office were so welcoming and completely eased my anxiety. They explained everything step by step and didn't make me feel any guilt or shame for avoiding the dentist for so long. I needed a pretty bad cavity filled, and Dr. Conry was very open about my options and what potential outcomes might be (future root canal, crown, possibility of infection, etc). The filling process was a total 10/10. No pain during the process, filling looks and feels great. In the past, I've left the dentist in tears, but this time I was happy and smiling. It sounds hilarious to me, but I'm actually EXCITED to go to my cleaning later this month!

I met Dr. Conry and her staff when I was in need of emergency dental work due to falling face first on some ice. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dentists and everyone I met was so incredibly kind to me and made me feel so comfortable there. They are compassionate and transparent. The office is super clean and super cute too :)

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the dentist was warm and kind, and the decor is on point! My teeth are the cleanest they've ever been!

Completely inadequate. Unsure how she got her license. The hygienist simply stopped doing her job "because she felt uncomfortable". You can't stop cleaning someone's teeth halfway through the procedure.

A clean, personal, and friendly experience with all the staff. I was only looking for a one time cleaning as a new patient. I called in, the receptionist was incredible and informative, I managed to get an appointment the same day I called, both Dr. Conry and my hygienist were incredibly personable, and I had a great experience.

NAMES HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT: Working with this office has been a true nightmare. We tried to set up a payment plan according to our budget, and was told we would be getting a payment plan sent in the mail. Instead, they sent us to collections with no notice. They are unwilling to work with us at all. Very unprofessional we will not be returning to this office!
