Dr. Matt was born and raised in Anderson, SC. He completed his undergraduate degree at Clemson University and continued his studies at MUSC College of Dental Medicine. Following his time in Charleston, Dr. Matt has been practicing in North Carolina and is dedicated to serving the Kannapolis community with advanced treatments and comprehensive dental care. In his free time he enjoys watching Clemson football, cruising on Lake Norman and going to Cannon Ballers baseball games and walks in Downtown Kannapolis.
Dr. Matt's dental services include family, cosmetic, and restorative dentistry. New procedures he will bring into the practice will include root canals, implants, clear aligners, and same day crowns. Because oral health is imperative to overall health, he believes in patient education to create the healthiest smile. He will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your immediate needs and provide preventative dental care that ensures your smile will last a lifetime!
Dr. Duncan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned both his undergraduate and dental degrees. He graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry in 1973 and opened the office in Kannapolis in September of 1973. Dr. Duncan enjoys dentistry, especially having the opportunity to serve patients from three generations of families.

I have enjoyed my experiences with kannapolis family dentistry so far! The day of my appointment, I had a dental catastrophe between my front teeth. They fixed it that day! I was so relieved. The dentist is amazing and the staff is amazing as well! I was helped by Jayne, Jackie and Savannah. All wonderful

I would like to give a shout out to the Kannapolis Family Dentistry team. From beginning to end, they have provided excellent customer service. They have a very modern and tech-savvy office environment. I would recommend this dentist office to my family and friends without hesitation. In addition, the visit was fast and informative. Thanks to Jackie my hygienist, Matt my doctor, and Savannah and Sarah the nurses upfront. See you guys in December! As a side note, I found the fan that you mentioned on Amazon

I had my first visit yesterday and I was very impressed. Dr. Rivera had the best bedside manner and was very thorough with me. The dental hygienist was amazing as well. Savanna and Jackie love their job because you could definitely tell it. Make an appointment and you'll definitely be back.

As an adult, I am embarrassed by how I have kept my teeth. I have just started coming to this dentistry this year and everyone there has been so kind. They educated me on what I need to do on my end and how together we could get my mouth back on track for the long run. I appreciate the honesty they have given me. I highly recommend them.

Greatest experience ever at a dentist office. The staff is so friendly and extremely helpful. I get really nervous when going to a dentist because of bad experience in the past. The Dentists ( Dr. Matt and Dr. Duncan) and staff put my fears to rest. I highly recommend!!!! No judgment and very positive input to my dental care. Mrs. Rachel did a wonderful job making me feel at ease and explaining every process in detail. Mrs. Savannah greeted me with a warm welcome and continued to be so helpful explaining my insurance and payment.

Phenomenal patient care! Jackie really listened to the concerns I had and walked me through everything she was doing (and the reasons why). The dentist (Dr. Matthew, I believe) was great too! Sarah and Savannah were also super sweet! Best experience I've had with a dentist office in a long time

First time here. Very good atmosphere. Love the staff and how organized they are. Very informative. Other than the one lady assuming I work in a warehouse (not knocking it, a hustle is a hustle) but I'm a Diesel Mechanic on night shift, I just think assuming is a little insulting to me personally lol. Overall good visit though....I would recommend!
