Dr. Todd C. Kandl is a graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry, where he received training in all aspects of general dentistry. He is licensed by the State Dental Board of Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Monroe County Dental Society.
Dr. Kandl is devoted to the preservation and, if needed, the reconstruction of every patient's dentition. Treatment plans are tailored to your individual needs and he welcomes your involvement in the planning process. He is a firm believer in preventive dental care and enjoys working on esthetic cases to improve the appearance and function of the teeth and gums. Dr. Kandl has a strong working relationship with other specialists in the area to meet any needs that a comprehensive treatment plan may require.

Linda Richards Linda is at our front desk to welcome you to our practice. She is our treatment coordinator and has worked in the practice since 1980. If you have any questions regarding insurance, scheduling or billing, she will be happy to help! Linda was born and raised in East Stroudsburg. She is married and has 2 daughters and 2 son-in-laws. Linda and her husband have a Newfoundland, and enjoy antique and classic cars.
Lorraine Breaux Lorraine is one of our Licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistants. She works side-by-side with Dr. Kandl, seeing to the comfort and needs of our patients. Lorraine has worked in the practice since 1987wow! When she is not working, she enjoys kayaking on the lake where she lives in Saylorsburg. She loves to run, study her bible, crochet and chai tea latte!
Heather Smith Heather has been working in our office as a Full Time Hygienist since 2004. She is a lifelong resident and graduate from Stroudsburg High School. She started her dental career as a dental assistant and continued her education at Northampton Community College. She lives in Snydersville with her husband, two sons and dogs. She enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family!
Dawn She is a 2009 graduate of Northampton Community College. Prior to obtaining her Dental Hygiene Degree, she was an assistant for 5 years. She is married with 3 boys, 2 dogs, and 3 cats. She loves to spend time with her family camping and being outdoors.
Susan Marsh-Youngken Susie has been in our practice since the late 1970s and graduated from East Stroudsburg University. She works with our team as a Licensed Expanded Function Dental Assistant and Certified Dental Assistant. She is a fellow member of the American Dental Assistant Association and PA Dental Assistant Association. As team coordinator, Susie enjoys sharing our teams visions with our patients. Susie has 2 grown children, 3 grown step children, 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. She and her husband live in Scotrun and enjoy boating at Lake Wallenpaupak.

I cannot rate Todd high enough. I am one who was always afraid of the dentist. Well after some recommendations I decided to give him a try because we went to high school together. And the dentists on my health insurance plan are awful. I was having some bad tooth pain and he said I needed a root canal. My last root canal went awful, but with the wonderful warm welcoming office and the caring staff I decided to go through with it even though I would be paying out of pocket. I never thought I could have a good root canal experience, but I did. Todd walked me through everything. He has such a calm, warm bedside manner that made me feel so relaxed. When I told him that I could feel something, he was quick to administer anesthetic which worked quickly and took the pain away immediately. If you are looking for a wonderful dentist that doesn't have that cold sterile feel, give Todd a call - their staff makes you feel like family - everyone is so nice and their office feels like warm, like home! And this is coming from someone who has a great fear of dentists!!

As a fellow Temple University alumni, I certainly know the reputation of a top Dental School in Philadelphia. When I moved from a major city back to the Lehigh Valley area, searching for a dentist that had graduated from Temple Dental was actually one of my requirements. Todd Kandl dentistry not only fulfilled that goal, is a family-oriented office, generous with appointment times, every person you meet there is knowledgeable and extremely proficient and you walk out of there with not only a bright smile from the dental work, but because of the experience. My main choice in switching dentists is because Todd offers so many options including Invisalign. It's like a dental one stop shop!

I switched to Dr Kandl. My previous dentist would constantly say my children needed fillings every 6 months, then needed to re-fill the fillings they already did. It was getting a little ridiculous. Dr. Kandl has great reviews so I decided we would try him out. Even with braces my kids haven't needed anything done. They are thorough and my kids love him ! The office staff is super sweet too.

I started seeing DR Kandl when my Dentist retired and recommended DR Kandl. Best recommendation ever. I love how thorough he is and my hygenntiest Dawn is wonderful . . The office personnel are great and all so sweet. I highly recommend this Dental office.
