Born in Austin, Texas, she gained early acceptance at the University Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio in 1991 and graduated in 1995. Later, Dr. Lewis and her husband, Tim, moved to Luling from San Antonio and she set up her practice. They have 2 children, Mali (23) and Madeline (21).
Dr. Lewis is being kept busy by her practice and her family. In her spare time, she loves to read and enjoys civic activities. She has served as a member of the Luling Independent School District Board of Trustees, the Seton Hospital Advisory Board, the Luling Lions Club, and a former president of the Luling Chamber of Commerce.

I moved here from El Paso and wasn't sure I would be able to find the "perfect replacement" for dental needs. I am happy to say I was wrong! Dr. Kamala Lewis and her staff exceeded my expectations. Love this place!!! They make a visit to the Dentist like a visit with family. The entire staff is sooo knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone. They even made my Granddaughters visit fun. Do yourself a favor and make these guys your choice for your dental needs. You won't be sorry.

They got me in when I had a bad toothache & fixed me up. Everything was so nicely organized and friendly. My visit was great. I also have to say everyone was so nice. They me feel comfortable and had my laughing. I am looking forward to my next visit.

I called early on a Monday morning with excruciating pain from a tooth. They worked me in that day. The tooth needed to be extracted. Dr. Lewis' staff worked diligently calling 10 different oral surgeons offices to see if they could handle it. Some of the offices didn't answer, others said they were swamped but the effort on Dr. Lewis's office was amazing.
