An absolutely amazing experience with Dr. Shepherd and his staff!! I have never been under anesthesia before and was pretty nervous for my wisdom teeth removal, everyone was so caring & just brought an overall calming presence to my appointment. It was the best experience I could have asked for. Would 100% recommend coming here for all your oral surgery needs!!!

Absolutely hands down the best oral surgeon in Montana period. They are so professional yet so comforting and efficient. I got my wisdom teeth out and this was honestly the most comfortable I've been at the dentist ever

While the actual surgery seems good, the BILLING is NOT! They made us pay in advance, and their estimate was not only WRONG (they owe us a refund!) but they didn't even bill our insurance correctly, completely forgot to bill our health insurance entirely and only billed the dental! THIS IS WHY PEOPLE PAY AFTER INSURANCE PAYS, NOT BEFORE!!! I will NEVER pay in advance EVER AGAIN! If they try to make you do so, GO ELSEWHERE!

I don't know if the Oral Surgeons at this location are good at what they do or not. Reason being is that they wanted to charge me almost 3 times what it cost me in Missoula. I was quoted over $1,200 out of pocket here, and it cost me $469 in Missoula. So I drove to Missoula.

Who knew dental operations could be so easy?! Professional staff, very very caring. The moment the doors opened and it was my turn I felt a weight lift knowing I was in such good hands. Miranda was more than helpful, and wonderfully kind. I was chop full of questions and she didn't hesitate to find an answer for everything. I felt immediate relief from seeing the care and focus the staff provided. Warm blankets, amazing anesthesic work. Flawless execution from start to finish. Did I mention the doctor let me choose a song to fall asleep to? I mean cmon! Don't hesitate, this is the place for you and your family's needs. No pain at all. Just smiles. Thank you!

I have been to this office twice in the past few years. I had a particularly long procedure yesterday with Dr. Blanton and was very nervous about it going in. Much to my delight, the experience was way, way better than expected. It is now day two, things are still going great, I say "Thank you Dr. Blanton". I recommend this office highly!!

I was sent to Kalispell Oral Surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed in November 2019. Dental work almost always makes me anxious, but the staff here made me more comfortable and relaxed. January of 2021, I had a tooth break at the gum line and extraction was pretty much the only option. I was sent here again but less nervous as I had a positive experience last time. I ended up having a complication over the weekend that resulted in more pain. Fortunately they have an on-call surgeon, and Dr. Blanton prescribed a medication that worked better for me. I have also had positive experiences with Dr. Weber and Dr. Shepherd, and now I won't be nervous if I need surgery again as long as I know I'm in their care.

They made me very comfortable and I wasn't nervous at all after I got in there. It was over and done before I knew it! I loved going here which is crazy since I absolutely hate going to the dentist.

Absolutely Amazing Staff! Called in the morning for severe tooth pain, was seen later that afternoon. Quickest procedure I've had to date. Great environment, super friendly staff, just all the way around a fantastic choice in oral surgery! Thankyou all so much!

I had to have an extraction today and was very nervous as I had to be put under, they made me feel a lot better about the procedure. Dr Shepherd was wonderful about explaining everything and was great doing my iv and talking me through before I was put to sleep, and my nurse Miranda went above and beyond even walked me out to my car after. I would recommend this place to anybody they were absolutely amazing!!

Went in and had some teeth extracted just yesterday evening and I couldn't be more thankful! The whole process was so painless, smooth, and quick! Dr. Blanton and his staff were so kind and professional the entire time and did an amazing job. I felt very comfortable. Truly the best dental experience I've ever had!

I couldn't have asked for a better surgery experience than what I received at Kalispell Oral Surgery today. I've never had surgery before coming here to get my wisdom teeth extracted, and I was as nervous as I could be before coming in. They made me feel comfortable, I didn't feel the tiniest bit of pain, and they were all incredibly kind. Thank you to the people working today, you are amazing.

I had a cracked tooth that needed to be removed. Dr. Blanton was my surgeon. He was lovely ( kind, thoughtful, gentle)! He answered all my questions about possible implants later. He even said that for my particular situation, I did not "need" an implant if I did not want one. I asked for an option other than cadaver bone to replace the hole left by the removal. He gave me the option of using my blood to be spun down into a tissue to fill the hole. It made the healing easier and helps keep the bone strength longer than with no replacement. He also asked what style of music I wanted him to play during my surgery ( which, with my RN training, I know can affect the patient even when unconscious): ) I had minimal bleeding afterward, and healed well. When I went in for suture removal, he was so gentle I felt no pulling at all! Overall, my experience was very positive. Thank you to Dr. Blanton et.al. : ) Tammie Wolfe
