Our office provides specialized dentistry for children and adolescents in a warm, caring child-friendly environment. As pediatric dentists, our 2-3 years of additional training after dental school has prepared us for the unique dental needs of each child we serve.

Dr. Reed Thompson (known around our office as 'Dr. Reed') is a pediatric dentist in Kalispell, MT. He was born and raised in Butte, Montana. He completed his undergraduate degree at Montana State University, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Minnesota, and after nine years with the Indian Health Service in Alaska, earned his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Reed is a current member of the Montana Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is also an active board member for Sheperds Hand.

Dr. James Cannava (known around our office as Dr. James) is a pediatric dentist in Kalispell, Montana. He was born and raised in Soldotna, Alaska, before attending the University of California, Davis for his undergraduate studies. He earned his dental degree at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. After dental school, Dr. James spent three years working at community health centers in Montana where he developed a strong interest in childrens dentistry. He completed his pediatric dentistry degree in Seattle and treated patients at the University of Washington and Seattle Childrens Hospital.

Dr. James is a current member of the Montana Dental Association, as well as the American Dental Association. He is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Lisa brings her gentle, caring nature to all of our patients here at Kalispell KiDDS. You can usually find her in one of the treatment rooms assisting one of our pediatric dentists. Lisa also brings her creative teaching spirit to share with all of us, when she has a little spare time! Lisa is a licensed teacher in secondary for history/government and loves not only to learn new things, but also to teach kiddos everything from presidents, to ancient Egypt, to nutritional counseling and oral hygiene!

Lisa joined Kalispell KiDDS in the fall of 2012. If Lisa is not at the office working, you can be sure she is enjoying Montanas great outdoors! A Flathead Valley native, she enjoys anything outdoors - hiking, camping, rock climbing, swimming & skiing to name a few! She also takes advantage of any spare moment to spend time with her beautiful daughter Charlotte and wonderful husband Jim, who got her into running too. Lisa brings a calmness to our office and always goes the extra mile for every patient here at Kalispell KiDDS!

Chrissy joined Kalispell KiDDS in July 2012. Chrissy was raised in the Flathead Valley and began her dental career at dental assisting school in Spokane, WA. Chrissy thoroughly enjoys the perks of being an executive chefs wife and being the mommy of two little boys Christopher Michael and Maximus Alexander - and aunt to a niece and a nephew here in the valley! Chrissy shares her love of dentistry with each and every patient she interacts with here at Kalispell KiDDS!

Jessica is everywhere in our office, from the treatment rooms to the lab to the sterilization area. You can usually find her in one of the treatment rooms assisting one of our pediatric dentists, or organizing the never-ending supply room! Aside from chairside assisting, Jessica also keeps our office stocked as our inventory manager!

Jessica has been with Kalispell KiDDS since July 2008. Aside from dental assisting, she enjoys spending her free time with her sons Blake & Rhett. They love to go camping, fishing, and hunting any chance they get! Any chance she gets away from the office she spends traveling on road trips around the country! And if she gets any chance to spend time alone, she loves to shop! We love the eagerness to learn that Jessica brings to us each day, as well as the loving care she gives to each and every patient here at Kalispell KiDDS.

Jenniane waves good bye with a beaming smile to all of our patients as they leave our office! You can usually find her at the check out desk or at the front desk, and sometimes both! Jenniane also keeps our No Cavity Club board up-to-date and helps with billing and insurance claims.

Jenniane joined Kalispell KiDDS in the summer of 2016. A Montana native, Jenniane spent 14 years in Alaska, where she got married and had a family. Her family moved back to the valley to be closer to relatives and enjoy living in what used to be their vacation destination! She enjoys spending time with her husband and three children in the great outdoors - skiing, fishing, hiking and paddleboarding! When she is not at the office or exploring the great outdoors, you might find her finishing a book and a plate of good sushi! Jenniane brings a calming nature to our patient check in/check out process here at Kalispell KiDDS!

Elissa brings her engaging and intuitive nature to each and every patient here at Kalispell KiDDS! You can find Elissa both at the front desk and in the back assisting our pediatric dentists. Elissa helps with insurance, scheduling and assisting, filling many roles here at our office!

Elissa joined Kalispell KiDDS in February of 2018. She and her family moved to Kalispell in August 2017 and have quickly fallen in love with the great outdoors here! She has two daughters who enjoy camping, hiking and fishing around our valley! Elissa greets each patient with a warm smile and treats each patient as her own!

Sheri brings many years of pediatric dental experience and her can do attitude to our team here at Kalispell KiDDS! You can find Sheri just about anywhere in the back, assisting our pediatric dentists and helping out the team. Sheri uses her vast array of knowledge to help make each and every patient as comfortable as can be in our office!

Sheri joined Kalispell KiDDS in June of 2019. Sheri has been a dental assistant for over 31 years, as well as both a wildland firefighter and EMT. She loves spending time with her grandkids, as well as camping, hiking & hunting. If she is not working at the office, you might find her fighting a fire or helping a stranded hunter! Sheri loves making connections with each of our patients here at Kalispell KiDDS!

Tonya brings her motherly charm to all of our patients here at Kalispell KiDDS. You can usually find her in one of the treatment rooms giving oral hygiene instructions or assisting one of our pediatric dentists. Tonya brings many years of dental assisting knowledge with her to help us treat our patients the very best we can!

Tonya joined Kalispell KiDDS in the winter of 2016. Tonya is the loving mother of six children and a grandmother too! She LOVES spending time with her children and grandchildren and dipping her toes in the ocean! Tonya brings her loving nature to each of our patients, as she treats each one as her own!

Sophia brings her youthful spirit and fun-loving nature to each and every patient here at Kalispell KiDDS! You can find Sophia in the back assisting our pediatric dentists or helping manage our social media/Patient Rewards Hub (which is quite the chore!).

Sophia joined Kalispell KiDDS in April of 2019, as an intern, and then came on board full time in July of 2019. She loves dogs, photography, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. If Sophia is not here at the office, you might find her catching a scary movie (she loves scary movies!) or baking something delicious. Sophia loves to take No Cavity Club photos, and cant wait to meet each and every one of our patients at Kalispell KiDDS!

Megan brings her youthful charm each and every afternoon here at Kalispell KiDDS! You can find Megan all around the office in the afternoons, as she joins us after she finishes classes at the high school. Megan helps with the No Cavity Club list, scheduling and assisting, filling many roles here at our office!

Megan joined Kalispell KiDDS in February of 2019. A Flathead Valley native, Megan loves summer sunshine, coffee and the outdoors. If she is not here at the office, you might find her spending time with family and friends, taking a hike or skiing! You might catch a wave and a smile from Megan on your way out the door in the afternoons here at Kalispell KiDDS!

Lindsey brings her sense of calmness and 'can-do' attitude to our office! You can usually find her in the back office, handling claims and billing questions. You might even catch her in one of our consult rooms! Aside from helping our patients and parents have a great experience here, Lindsey also helps to make sure our chart notes are entered and up-to-speed!

Lindsey joined Kalispell KiDDS in the summer of 2014. Lindsey is a Montana native, and if she isn't here at the office, she is probably enjoying the great outdoors. You can usually find her running or hiking with one or both of her dogs. She LOVES to run! She is quite the chef in the kitchen, experimenting with recipes - especially cupcakes! She loves spending quality time with her ever growing family and enjoys knitting & reading to wind down at night. Lindsey brings energy and kindness to our crew here at Kalispell KiDDS, and always makes sure every patient is greeted with a smile and a wave goodbye!

Amanda brings her warm smile and calm nature to each and every patient here at Kalispell KiDDS! You can find Amanda in the back assisting our pediatric dentists, or creatively crafting something fun for the team.

Amanda joined Kalispell KiDDS in September of 2019. She has been a dental assistant for over 15 years, loving working with kids and teaching them how to keep their smiles sparkly (like her own!). Amanda loves baking and bakes delicious treats for her team at the office! If she is not here at the office, you can probably find her enjoying the great outdoors with her family, or perhaps volunteering at her sons school. Amanda shares her beautiful smile with each patient and wants to help his/her smile sparkle like hers!

Zoe brings her creative spirit and welcoming nature to each and every patient that walks through the door here at Kalispell KiDDS! You can usually find Zoe at the front desk, checking patients in or out, scheduling and answering the phone. Zoe fills many roles around the front desk of our office!

Zoe joined Kalispell KiDDS in October of 2018. A Flathead Valley native, Zoe loves ice skating, camping and hiking. If she is not here at the office, you might find her playing her violin! Zoe greets everyone that walks in the door with her welcoming smile!

Cooke makes sure every patient she sees has a sparkly clean smile! You can usually find her in our front hygiene chairs cleaning teeth, or working in her office on the books! Aside from hygiene, Cooke also keeps our office afloat by keeping on top of our bookkeeping!

Cooke joined Kalispell KiDDS in July 2009. A native North Carolinian, Cooke moved here with Dr. Reed to pursue their passion of pediatric dentistry. She received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of North Carolina (and is a HUGE Tarheel fan!) before continuing her hygiene career with the USPHS. She and Dr. Reed were married in June 2010 in East Glacier and she now calls Montana her home! When she is not at the office, she enjoys skiing, scrapbooking and the outdoors. She hopes to grow old with Dr. Reed & Hobbs and her family at Kalispell KiDDS!
