Dr. Kaler returned to Sioux City to practice as an orthodontist in 1990. His team of reliable, well-trained professionals delivers high-quality, pain-free care in a friendly, relaxed environment. Dr. Kaler has found that just as his patients bites improve following treatment, so does their outlook and self-confidence.
Becoming an orthodontist requires thousands of hours of additional training, and to remain current, it requires many hours of continuing education. Dr. Dick has been practicing orthodontics in Sioux City since 1999. She is a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry. She received her postgraduate training in orthodontics from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
It is a priority of Dr. Dick to listen to her patients needs and desires when selecting among the various treatment options available at her office. She and her team take the time to explain the procedures involved. She wants her patients and parents to feel confident about the steps needed to fulfill their wishes for a beautiful smile.
An avid participant in continuing dental education and in professional organizations, Dr. Dick believes these activities serve as a way to keep up with the new developments and innovations in the field of orthodontics.
Dr. Dick is a member of theAmerican Association of Orthodontists, Iowa Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Iowa Dental Association, and Sioux City Dental Society. She is past president of the Sioux City Dental Society.

Our administrative staff is dedicated to helping ensure you have a great experience at our office. We will always try to assist you with your scheduling, financial, and insurance needs. Together, we have 104 years of experience. Outside the office, we all have families that keep us busy. Whether it is fishing, camping, boating, or just enjoy playing games, we try to make you feel like family too.
Our clinical staff are allregistered dental assistants who have completed expanded function training for orthodontics. Together, they bring 163 years of combined experience; themost recent hire occurred more thanfive years ago. On any given day, you can find some of the assistants traveling with Dr. Kaler to one of our three satellite offices, while others are assisting Dr. Dick at our home office. Each assistant brings with her a different story. Some have families with small children, others follow their teenage children through sports activities, while others enjoy their grandchildren. Seeing the transformation of each patients smile is what makes our job so rewarding.
Our laboratory staff keeps busy with allthe behind-the-scenes activities of an orthodontic lab. Thoseinclude archiving plaster molds that have been taken over the last 50 years, processing 3D scans that are taken today on our patients, and 3D printing of models and appliances for our current patients treatment needs. Nearly all of our retainers are made here in our own lab, located at our Morningside office. This allows us to deliver many retainers in one day, or within a few days instead of waiting weeks for a commercial lab located out of state.
