Dr. Michael Lutwin has practiced dentistry on Kauai since 2005 and has been with Kalaheo Dental Group since 2011. He is a past president of the Kauai County Dental Society (2013) and currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Hawaii Dental Association. He earned his DDS degree from New York University College of Dentistry then traded his heavy New York winter surfing wetsuitfor the warmer waves and people of Kauai. His wife, Orie, is a social worker practicing in the mental health field on Kauai.
Dr. Lutwin most enjoys being a dentist when hecanhelp people feel comfortableand become knowledgeablepartners in their dental health. Although he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he especially enjoys helping people have healthy, beautiful smiles and feel that getting good dental care doesn't have to be a scary experience.
Dr. Kelliann Rita grew up on Maui and, after graduating from Maui High School, earned a Bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. She achieved her DDS degree from the University Of Colorado School Of Dental Medicine and completed a general practice residency at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu. She has practiced on Kaua'i since 2011.
Dr. Rita lives in Lawai with her pharmacist husband Leland, who is from Kaua'i. Dr. Rita is an active member in the Kaua'i County Dental Society and is a recent past president. In her free time, Dr. Rita enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and their dog Lili, who oftenkeepseveryone companyin the office.She loves being a dentist on Kaua'iand enjoys promoting great oral health.
Dr. Robert Stebbins graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2006. He owned a private dental practice for 11 years in Oregon. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Stebbins practiced as an orthopedic surgery physician assistant in San Francisco. He also spent two years in Bulgaria as a missionary. He has served as the president of the Southern Oregon Dental Society and the Kauai County Dental Society.
Dr. Stebbins enjoys creating positive dental experiences for his patients. He strives to establish trust and respect with each patient in a calm and comfortable environment. Dr. Stebbins is very grateful to live on Kauai and loves spending time with his wife and four sons at the beach.
Michelle graduated with honors from Indiana University, in Fort Wayne, where she practiced for 5 years at a state-of-the-art dental office. Since moving to Kauai, she has been impressed with the kind and generous spirit of everyone she has met, and is excited to use her knowledge and skill to serveKalaheo Dental Group'spatients in the same manner. She feels blessed to be working with such a great group of professionals. In her spare time, Michelle loves exploring the island and engaging in a wide variety of outdoor activities where she can continue to meet more remarkable people. When shes not in the great outdoors, she enjoys hanging out with friends, weightlifting, reading, art, music, and attending church.
Lea (pronounced Lee) has lived and practiced on Kauai for 10 years. An experienced and gentle professional, Lea was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and attended Dental Hygiene school at Northern Arizona University. Lea also studied photography at the Academy of Art School in San Francisco. In addition to taking great care of our patients, and helping them to achieve their full health potentials, Lea loves photography, anything artistic (drawing & sewing), and loves to read and hike.
Tialei is so happy to be living back on Kauai, and is eager to use her awesome skills to give back to her community by taking great care of their smiles and their health!. An alumni of Waimea High School on Kauai, she graduated from Dental Hygiene School at El Paso Community College, in Texas. Tialei enjoys random adventures with her nieces and nephew, spending time at the beach, and listening to old school R&B. Tialeis heart is always fullest when she is with her family here on Kauai, on the mainland, and on Molokai, where her parents grew up. She is excited to be a part of our great Kalaheo Dental team and takes amazing care of our patients!
Johanna was born and raised in the small town of Acme in northern Washington. She graduated with honors from Portland State University with a B.S. in Health Science and Community Health and a minor in Psychology. She has experience working in other various medical offices including Chiropractic, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. Since becoming part of the ohana at Kalaheo Dental Group, she has advanced her knowledge in the dental field and is happy to help assist patients with any of their dental needs. Outside of work she enjoys exploring the beautiful island of Kauai with her husband and dog Hank!
Jessica graduated from Kauai High School and has been with Kalaheo Dental Group for many years. She enjoys her job because she gets to meet new people and help them understand how important their oral health is. She also loves the ohana that she works with.

She loves educating patients and guiding them towards good dental care.In her free time, she enjoys being a new mom to her daughter Bailey, and spending time with her family.
Born and raised in Waimea Valley, and a Waimea High School graduate, Kelsey lives in Kalaheo. She is an alumni of UH Hilo and Kauai Community Colleges Community Health Worker program. When she is not working to help folks achieve their full health potentials, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her son, Kapenaokekai: every Sunday they ride dirt bikes as a family, and youll likely see them at the beach or in the mountains during their free time!
Outside work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Tevyn and with family and friends. They love being outdoors - whether it's hanging out at the beach, camping, fishing, hiking, or spending time at the pasture with our horses.
Marla is thrilled to work with such wonderful, compassionate doctors. They are so compassionate and caring that it makes it easy for her to love her job! Marla finds it rewarding to help our patients have a positive experience while improving their oral health.
Mary Janes been a dental assistant for overten years, and finds her job to be both challenging and rewarding. She goes out of her way to make all her patients comfortable and happy so that they'll feel good about coming to us for their dental care.
Nicole is one of our amazing Registered Dental Assistants. She has a natural and genuine care for people, superb technical skills, and works hard to make our patients feel comfortable. She's fun, professional, and enjoyable to be around. We are grateful to have her in our ohana! On her free time, Nicole enjoys frequent beach days and visits to the park with her daughter Chloe. Originally from Snohomosh, WA, Nicole now loves living close the beach where her and Chloe spend a lot of time!

The Invisalign trays looked great and felt better than braces, they even felt better than my plastic retainers I had after my braces were removed. Yes, you wear the trays at all times other than when youre eating, drinking (anything other than water), or brushing your teeth. I continued doing everything as usual, which included commercial photoshoots and dancing on stage at luaus. No one could tell I had them on unless they talked to me up close. At the halfway point, I already noticed a clear difference in my bottom teeth and was in awe with the change in the underbite I had neglected for so long.
Time to celebrate! Kalaheo Dental always finds a way to go above and beyond, and with every Invisalign graduate, they gift them whitening treatments. Hooray! Who doesnt want whiter teeth?!
