At K.I.S.S. Dental Care, we believe in not only providing high-quality care, but in establishing a practice where you can feel at home. Our office incorporates all areas of dentistry. Our office has multiple dentists and specialists from all areas of dentistry. This allows us to provide you with all the care and treatments that you may need in a single, convenient location. Each dentist and field of dental care comes with its own philosophy, and combining these different backgrounds allows us to improve and perfect the care we provide so that you can enjoy excellent oral health and a beautiful smile. We work together as a team to continually raise our standard of care and find laughter and joy in the process. Our dentists also pursue numerous continuing education courses in order to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in dentistry.
Dr. Ung-Gin Yoon graduated from the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1997, and completed a post-doctoral program in periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2000. While completing these post-doctoral studies he also served as a pre-clinical and clinical instructor for periodontics. Dr. Yoon also received an award for excellence in prosthodontics from the American College of Prosthodontists in 1997.
Since completing dental school, Dr. Yoon has continued to learn through additional education and coursework. At New York University, he completed a year-long comprehensive aesthetic dentistry program in 2010 as well as a two-year full-mouth reconstruction program in 2011 and 2012.
Dr. Yoon has practiced in the Balmville, area for over 18 years, and completes numerous continuing education courses on a regular basis in order to stay up-to-date on the latest treatments and technologies. He has completed advanced training in comprehensive aesthetic dentistry and full-mouth reconstruction. As a dentist, his goal is to establish an office with proper dentistry, which includes a highly-qualified and caring team who will work harmoniously to help each other and our patients have a better dental experience.
Dr. Doris Lui attended Montclair State University for her undergraduate degree before attending the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, from which she graduated in 2010 with her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. She regularly completes continuing education to stay abreast of new treatment techniques in the dental field. Dr. Lui is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Ninth District Dental Society. She has practiced in the Balmville area since 2013. Dr. Luis hobbies include cooking and traveling.
Throughout her education and career, Dr. Lui has been recognized as an upstanding member of her field. While attending Montclair State University, she graduated Summa Cum Laude and reieced the University College of Science and Mathematics Outstanding Baccalaureate Award. In the Dominican Republic, she provided free dental care to citizens in need. She has also contributed to the wider field of dentistry through her published work, including:
Dr. Eliezer Brecher Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Dr. Brecher graduated from Harvard University School of Dental Medicine for his doctoral degree and completed his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He provides a full scope of surgical services in dental implants, extractions, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery and oral-facial reconstruction.
Dr. Korlei Mensah Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Korlei Mensah is passionate about caring for each child in a calm, comforting manner. She strives to educate parents and children about their oral health, and in the prevention of dental caries. Dr. Mensahs priority is to make each childs visit to the dentist a fun and pleasant one. Dr. Mensah is on faculty at St. Barnabas Hospital Health System in the Bronx, where she enjoys teaching and training future pediatric dentists. She is a Board Certified pediatric dentist, having received both her Bachelors of Arts and dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Following dental school, she completed a general practice residency at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan. Dr. Mensah obtained her specialty training in pediatric dentistry from St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York, where she served as chief resident. Dr. Mensah is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is currently a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. Mensah enjoys tennis, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr. Arthur Kim Orthodontics Dr. Arthur J. Kim graduated from Stanford University with honors and distinctions. Thereafter, Dr. Kim was accepted to the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Cum Laude and honors. While attending Harvard University, Dr. Kim won numerous academic and leadership awards for his achievements. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Kim attended the orthodontics residency program at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he attained his post-doctoral certificate in orthodontics. Dr. Kim is capable of addressing the most complex orthodontic problems. In 2018, Dr. Kim received a prestigious 1st place national award for the treatment he provided to one of his patients. Dr. Kim is the recipient of a Grace Milliken Award that is given for excellence in scholarship and character.
Eileen Office Manager Eileen was born and raised in Orange County, New Jersey. She has been our office manager since January 2021, but has been working in the dental field since 1998. She loves working in a multi-specialty office where we can provide comprehensive dental treatment with the latest technology, and her experience in dentistry helps her ensure that our patients understand their dental treatments and finances. Most of all, Eileen is a people person and office manager that takes time to connect with our patients. When she has free time, Eileen enjoys bowling, deep sea fishing and playing bingo.
Le-Ann Patient Coordinator Le-Ann has been a part of the K.I.S.S. Dental Care Team since the beginning of 2021, and she loves interacting with our patients. She is diligent and kind with our patients and team, and she relishes the opportunities she has to learn new things every day. Le-Ann is a Hudson Valley girl! She is recently engaged with three kids and in her spare time, she loves to attend her kids sports events.
Judy Dental Hygienist Judy graduated from Orange County Community College in 1989, and has been with our office since we opened. She remained with our office after Dr. Yoon purchased the practice from her previous employer of 29 years, and is honored to be part of this team. Judy genuinely cares about people, and loves teaching our patients how to keep their teeth for life. She loves the high standards for quality care that we uphold at our office. Judy is married with three children, one son and two daughters. She loves nature, sports and anything outdoors.
Bianca Patient Care Coordinator / Dental Assistant Bianca graduated from Marlboro High School and received her certification as a phlebotomist from Dutchess BOCES in 2017. She has been with our team as a dental assistant since November 2018, and she loves being a part of the amazing team that works here. We can always depend on Bianca to come to work every day with a smile and ready to help our team and our patients.

Dr Lui is a terrific Dentist!! She is very caring and patient. The office is always willing to help with any questions or problems that may come up. (Eileen is amazing as well!) Thank you for all you do !!

I was desperate looking for a dentist that besides accepting my insurance was good at their job. When I first spoke with Eileen over the phone, I knew they were the perfect place for me. Dr. Lui make me feel comfortable and secure while Eileen made the whole finance aspect of the process very smooth. The rest of the team, April, Maria also very attentive and friendly. They are the best.

Never even got to make an appointment, so I can't speak for any of the providers. I read other reviews and it seemed like a nice place to go. My daughters dentist referred her to see an orthodontist. I called K.I.S.S dental and initially spoke with Tabatha who was very kind and helpful, and shared with me that she was a new employee. As with most medical offices they were very concerned with verifying my insurance coverage. Tabatha asked if I would text a photo of my insurance card to a cell phone. I declined.. as text message is certainly not a secure way to transfer personal information. She put me on hold and came back and then verbally requested the information on the card. I provided her with all the necessary information, but then was asked for the policy holders social security number. I have never been required to provide this information for insurance verification prior to being a patient or even being able to make an appointment. I told her I would give her the last 4 of the social, but I would not give the whole number over the phone. She again put me on hold... This time another woman picked up and first words from her mouth were "Who's This??" Very unprofessional in my opinion. I could already hear the disdain in her voice. Keep in mind I was very polite and courteous the entire time. She shared with me that her name was Eileen and I either had to text a photo of my insurance card to their "secure line" or provide the entire social security number. I told her that I live very local and would be happy to drive the card to their office. Apparently that was not good enough. I informed her I have never had to provide my insurance card via text message or the SSN in entirety to verify insurance coverage. She told me due to COVID they are under staffed...this is the reason?? Ultimately Eileen told me if I could not provide them with the text message or the entire social then she advises I seek orthodontic care elsewhere... Even though i offered to drive the card to their office.... I thanked her for her time and said goodbye. I do understand they have every right to refuse a patient. I will seek orthodontic care elsewhere, just was very taken aback by these office policies and Eileen's unprofessional behavior. Surprising that I could be the first new patient to refuse sending personal information in an unsecure way...

This is the best dental practice I have ever been to. Dr Lui is talented, knowledgeable and super friendly. I used to have dental anxiety, but everyone I have encountered at the practice has done everything in their power to make it a positive experience. That, combined with the fact that I absolutely trust both dentists' expertise, is why I HIGHLY recommend K.I.S.S. dental for anyone who is looking for a practice.

I had anxiety about going to Dentists for years before I tried K.I.S.S. Dental Care. The Dentist, Dental Assistant, Receptionist, and other staff are friendly and helpful. The crown they made is an exact match to my other teeth and feels very natural. So glad I went to K.I.S.S. instead of any other office. I look forward to my next visit!

The whole staff are professional, friendly and kind. The work they have done is amazing; they have literally given me my smile back. They do their best to make sure you are comfortable, and satisfied with the results. Eileen and the entire front desk staff are super friendly and helpful as well. Dr Lui has done a fabulous job of taking care of me.

Have been a bad KISS patient since COVID and let some issues slide. Sooo glad I went back today. It is like a family there! Dr Lui was awesome, Ana, a new to me, hygienist was patient and kind, and Eileen just gave superb customer service. AND made me laugh and not cry at how much my insurance will pay!! ha! Highly recommend. Don't delay like I did. Wonderful visit today.

I can't say enough good things about KISS Dental. They are very professional, thorough, knowledgeable, accommodating, reasonable, friendly, and personable. They use state of the art technology and make a personalized treatment plan based on each individual's needs. They aren't pushy and going to the dentist is no longer a dreaded experience.

Friendly and courteous staff. I have always had anxiety regarding dental care. K.I.S.S dental has helped me to overcome that anxiety. The staff always explain the procedure prior to approaching and reassure throughout care. Dr. Lui is the greatest.....gentle and efficient care!

As a senior citizen I was so scared of going to the dentist. I grew up in an era that going to the dentist was a nightmare...KISS dental was so kind and patient and listened to my concerns prior to me getting filling work done today. I would highly recommend this office. PROFESSIONAL from the staff to the dentists.
