We work hard to offer implant, cosmetic, and restorative results that will help you feel great about your smile. We also offer general dentistry services, meaning we can take care of all your familys dental health care needs!
We offer a calm, welcoming atmosphere. Our warm, friendly staff are excellent listeners just let us know what you need to feel more comfortable, and we can make it happen. We are here for you. We want to make your experience at our office a positive one.
Our office accepts a variety of payment options. We gladly accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. We also offer prepayment discounts to non-insurance patients who pay in full before starting treatment. In addition, we accept most PPO insurance plans.
Kim C. Sykora grew up on the edge of the Great Plains in southwestern Minnesota. A Biology major at the U of MN, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University Of Minnesota School Of Dentistry in 1983. He received the award for the top clinician of his class of 150 after his first two years there.
After dental school, he returned to his hometown of Marshall MN, where he started a scratch dental practice. After seven years, he and his wife Yvonne felt led to go with their three young children to Papua New Guinea to work in support of Bible translation at the largest missionary support base in the world.
When their youngest child graduated from High School in 2003, they decided to return to the US. After living in paradise, they didnt want to return to blizzard country and decided to settle near West Chester.
Kim and Yvonne are very involved at Covenant Fellowship Church in Glen Mills, serving as community group leaders and singing in the Covenant Fellowship Chorale. They are serious vegetable and flower gardeners. Kim likes to putz around in his workshop doing woodworking and welding projects.
Yvonne started working full time for Dr. Sykora in 2010, but she has had the pleasure of being his marriage partner since 1978. They make a great team. She works hard to keep the office organized and efficient so that he can do what he loves: care for his patients. She enjoys tending to all the details that are necessary for keeping the office running smoothly.
Yvonne and Dr. Sykora are avid gardeners, and they love going home from work and picking everything they need for dinner. Yvonne also enjoys flower gardening and making arrangements for the office during the summer months. She and Dr. Sykora sing in a small vocal ensemble, and Yvonne plays the flute. Having friends and family in their home is another of their favorite things. They have five grandchildren and enjoy spending time with them.
Wendy graduated from Thomas Jefferson University with a BS in Dental Hygiene. Her passion is helping patients better understand their oral health for the benefit of optimum overall health. She has three adult sons and enjoys fishing with her husband and sons in her spare time.
Celene has worked in the dental field for three years and is currently attending college to pursue a degree in business management. She is a member of New Beginnings Fellowship and enjoys simple local adventures.
Sadie graduated from a dental assisting program in August of 2019. She loves everything about dentistry and this job especially. She loves that were like family here. She lives in West Chester with her five year old son and two cats. She goes on mini adventures with her son in her free time. She looks forward to having you in her chair.
Erica graduated with a business management degree from Grove City College in 2019 and has been in this office ever since. She is passionate about serving people and making them feel welcome. In her spare time, she enjoys water coloring, baking and cooking with her husband.
Kristen is passionate about dentistry and loves her job. She went to school for her phlebotomy certification and then decided that dentistry would be more fun and rewarding. She loves to help the team function well and helps out wherever she is needed. She and her husband live in Delaware with their two beautiful daughters. She loves to craft in her spare time.
Anna is a part-time receptionist here at the office. Shes been with us for 5 years and makes sure that our schedules are in order for each day. She loves working with the team and calls us her friends. She lives in West Chester with her family and is attending West Chester University, studying early childhood education. In her free time, she loves to bake, draw and spend time with her nieces and nephews.

Dr. Sykora is truly the best dentist I've ever had and it's not even close. I first came to him a few years ago with a mouth full of problems and he's consistently delivered excellent service and quality of work in fixing my issues. As someone who has had a ton of dental work done over the years, I can tell you that he has real compassion for his patients and goes out of his way to ensure you're comfortable during any procedure. Pricing is always very fair and I've never once been hit with a larger bill than what I was originally told. He keeps up to date with the latest dental technologies and from someone who works in IT, I can appreciate that. I've recommended and insisted several family members to him,and after their first appointment they all agree. I couldn't ever imagine going anywhere else!

I just moved here from North Carolina and found Dr. Sykora on Google. I have always been hesitant with trusting dentists, given that I have had many poor experiences in my past. (Pain, poor work quality, fillings falling out post appointment, trying to oversell and charge me for anything, the list goes on). I'm also a dental hygienist, and have much experience not only being a patient, but also caring for patients and working for dentists. The good, and the bad. It is DIFFICULT to find a genuine dentist. Someone who is in the industry to do the right thing, not the most profitable thing. And it's almost impossible to find a dentist who does both the right thing, AND genuinely cares. Dr. Sykora is one of them. I sincerely sympathize with the world on how hard it is to find a good dentist. All it takes is one bad dentist or dental experience to ruin things. You only get one set of teeth- so it truly matters to find a good dentist who will help you care for them long term. I am very happy to say Dr. Sykora is one of the good ones. Pricing is fair and reasonable. The office staff is absolutely wonderful, including the assistants. They are all such a joy to be around. I cannot recommend Dr. Sykora & his office more. I will be back for all treatments in the future, he's a keeper! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience from start to finish. I've never felt so comfortable at the dentist before. They were so kind, understanding, and professional. I'm extremely thankful that I was referred here. Highly recommended!! My only regret is that I didn't find them sooner.

Great dentist and staff with a beautiful office and convenient location. I have been coming here nearly 15 years, and have always been impressed not just with the dental treatment but with the clear communications and reminders I receive, and with the helpfulness of the staff in working out insurance and payment info. Very helpful! I know I can trust their judgement 100%. Call me crazy but I actually look forward to my dental visits since it feels like visiting family!

Went for a cleaning here yesterday and it was a fantastic experience. Staff was friendly and the hygienist took the time to explain what she was doing. The dentist seems very knowledgable. Enjoyable first encounter.

Dr Sykora has been my dentist for the past 5 or 6 years and I have been very happy with the practice. Everyone is extremely friendly and Dr Sykora is always very informative and up front regarding any dental work. I highly recommend this practice!

Dr. Sykora is hands-down the best dentist that I've visited in Chester County! He (and his staff) take the time to talk through your dental concerns and then makes a plan that will be realistic to coordinate with your insurance and budget. I've had several procedures done at this office over the last 2 years and I've had a positive experience every single time. Not only is Dr. Sykora dedicated to the overall health and well-being of his patients, but the front office staff is just as dedicated, helpful and responsive. After many years of struggling to find a dentist who actually cares, I'm grateful that I finally came across Dr. Sykora and his team.

Dr Sykora and his staff are the best. I have been seeing them for almost ten years now and even though I no longer live in West Chester, I drive 30 minutes to get there and it is absolutely worth it. All of my cleanings have been excellent, with just the right amount of touch and no pain, or anything of the sort. The procedures I've had done with them have all gone off problem free and the work has held up brilliantly over time, and I cannot overstate how important that is given the quality of dentistry I've had in the past. I get anxiety about some things and they are 100% understanding and willing to work with me to make sure I am comfortable. Dr. Sykora knows how to get me to crack a smile and relax before doing his thing. I have not met any doctors (not just dentists) with a better "bedside manner" than him. I have never had a problem with billing, insurance anything like that. I pay cash for extra cleanings and it's super easy. As long as I live in the greater Philadelphia area, I will be making sure that this is my dentist. I cannot recommend them enough.
