Dr. Lim focuses on providing comfort and best patient care for all ages, while taking her time to explain treatment options in a way that patients can understand. She takes great pride in partnering with patients to help them achieve and maintain a lifetime of excellent oral health.
Dr. Lim graduated with honors from University of California, Davis, majoring in Biological Sciences with emphasis in Biochemistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. In addition, she elected to do a year in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program after graduation to further her knowledge and training. Dr. Lim is an active member of the California Dental Association (CDA), American Dental Association (ADA), Academy General Dentistry (AGD) and Santa Clara County Dental Society (SCCDS).

I had a great experience visiting Dr.Shek yesterday. He found cavities in my root canal treated tooth. He quickly removed the cavities and placed temporary crown in the tooth to prevent further problems. I appreciated his quick decision/action caring for my teeth.

My family and I have been treated by Dr. Clement Shek and Dr. Justin Shek for over 30 years. They have consistently provided exceptional professional services along with all of their staff. From the newest Dentist to the oldest Office Manager, each one is professional, courteous, and prompt in caring out their services. With my visit a few years ago, Dr. Shek was able to see me the same day when I called about my dental problem. The office was totally updated with all of the COVID-19 safeguards. When another patient enter the waiting room area, I was quickly moved to another room. I was seen by Dr. Shek immediately, an x-ray was taken, and the assessment given with answers to all of my questions. Staff was excellent as always. So lucky to have a family dentist who is exceptionally qualified, competent, honest, and reliable. Update: Just this past Fourth of July weekend, I accidentally flicked my crown off and it fell into the sink drain. I left a telephone message for Dr. Shek's office requesting an appointment. The next business day, I received a call from staff manager Melissa who set me up with an appointment the next day after juggling another patient appointment to squeeze me into their full schedule. (Melissa is an exceptional staff who reminds me of upcoming appointments, ensures that dental claims are processed promptly, and always makes customer service a top priority). At my appointment, Dr. Justin Shek was professional, quick, gentle, and efficient in prepping my tooth for a new crown and temporary crown. His office has the most modern equipment. I was out of the office within an hour and a half with a follow-up appointment in two weeks for my new crown. Overall, a very well-run office with top-notch professional staff. For each of my dental cleanings, I have had a chance to be treated by most of the dentists in the office. They were all excellent and highly recommended.

This is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The staff was great especially the office manager Melissa is very welcoming and friendly. The office is beautiful and spotless, made me feel very conformable to be there. Dr. Shek and his team was very professional examining and providing with solutions by priority. I felt that I was in good hands.

Don't bother taking something to read! I've never waited long enough to read 2 pages in my books . Calm atmosphere and the nicest people ever, including the receptionists and dental assistants. The dentists are thorough in their explanations and are sensitive to pain issues. Friendly and courteous! Ive been going there for over 30 years!

UPDATE: ***** Dr Shek is now my one and only dentist. I actually travel from the East Bay to see him for all my needs. He is absolutely wonderful.*****I have been seeing the wonderful Dr Shek for almost 2 years and could not be more pleased. I am a "baby boomer" who was in dire need of specialized dentistry. He came thru in flying colors, with a gentle and thorough approach, explaining in precise detail what was going on and what needed to be done. The process is finished and I am very very happy with the results. I must also add how efficient and friendly the staff is. Melissa is so competent and accommodating and Dr Shek's chairside assistant Wendy is adorable.

Amazing care by all dentists and staff in Presidio Heights state-of-the-art office. Fees are competitive with many types of insurance accepted. Affable Dr. Justin Shek crafts beautiful color matched ceramic crowns on-site (during one visit) with 3D printer/computerized milling machine! My family members have been patients since 2006.

I do not often feel compelled to write reviews but my experience today with Dr. Shek was so outstanding that it feels worth sharing. I came to Dr. Shek after having a botched filling and an aggressive tooth shaving which has left my bite misaligned. My anxiety going into the appointment was high. Dr. Shek was incredibly calm, cautious, considerate and capable. He spent a lot of time understanding the problem using cameras, x-rays and computer modeling to determine the best solution. I am grateful to have found a dentist I can trust!

Dr. Shek and his staff are truly great. I was a childhood patient of this clinic, with edifying memories of my visits here that saved all 4 of my then candy abcessed molars! More recently one of my old crowns fell out, and I was quickly able to be booked and have the problem resolved. Soon I will be bringing in my 80+ and 90+ year-old parents in for a long needed checkup, and I have total confidence in the care they will get here. There is no doubt, this is an exemplary clinic that provides legendary service.

I've had troublesome teeth my whole life (first root canal at age 9), and thus a significant amount of experience with dentists in every city I've lived. Dr. Shek's office - from front office to every hygienist and dentist - is the best. They also coordinate so well with my periodontist and endodontist, which is very important when you're having dental surgery.
