We are dentists specializing in proactively preventing disease and restoring function and esthetics. We have been providing dental care to Nashville and Middle Tennessee communities since 1979. We strive to deliver excellence in dentistry and to exceed expectations in every aspect of your care.
Originally from West Memphis Arkansas, Dr. Poff graduated high school at the Arkansas School for Math and Sciences in 2003 and earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Arkansas in 2007. He graduated with a D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, TN, in 2011.
Dr. Poff is dedicated to excellence in dentistry and has committed his further education to the topics of general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, short-term orthodontics, and implant dentistry. He is a member of:
After dental school, Dr. Poff and his wife, Dr. Clair Poff, moved to Nashville and have enjoyed middle Tennessee ever since.Outside of the office, Dr. Poff enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and skiing, as well as spending time with his Jack Russell, Cortez. Justin also enjoys his time working with Young Life in Williamson County and is a member of Covenant Presbyterian of Nashville.
Dr. Dunn graduated from Nashvilles John Overton High School in 1970 before entering the University of Tennessee Knoxville and graduating with his BA degree in 1974. He continued his education by earning a D.D.S. from the University of Tennessee Health and Science Center in Memphis, TN, in 1977. After dental school, Dale participated in an internship with the State of Tennessee and then entered private practice in July 1978, here, in the Bellevue community.
When not practicing, he and his wife, Brenda enjoys a host of various outdoor activities. The Dunns share a love for travel, photography, and horticulture and are avid scuba divers and underwater photographers. Dale is proud to be widely considered a superior outdoor cook, and his family takes even more pride in their service to the local Nashville community.

Theresa, Dental hygienist was very pleasant and did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr Dale Dunn, DDS examined me after my cleaning. He is so kind and professional. Tammie Hyland was her sweet self, very personable with her awesome sense of humor. I have had all my dental care at this practice for decades with no plans to change. nobody likes getting cavities filled, i know. but, i have had severe dental anxiety since i can remember so i wasn't looking forward to it. today, i had 2 cavities filled and it was the easiest experience i've ever had!! instead of using gas (which i think was part of the problem) i just let them numb me, and it was so easy after that. dr. lee took care of me, and she is seriously so kind and caring. she made me feel completely at ease and had me in and out in an hour. the rest of the staff is great as well, they know what they're doing and they do it great! :)

My very 1st appt for a minor emergency just moved to town. Turned out to be a great experience. Even thought problem was a bad cavity Dr Poff and his team made me feel so at home and comfortable set up a plan and explained all so it made since. The office staff went over insurance for our plan and made this experience even more comfortable. I can honestly say I look forward to visiting the dentist now.:) Thanks

This is best dentist in Bellevue. Dr. Poff is gentle , and very professional. He explains all of his procedures , prior to his treatment. He has lots of educational materials and videos in his waiting room which I always enjoy learning from . His office staff are very helpful and kind . They are very knowledgable about insurance benefits. Dental hygienist are exceptional as well.
