Dr. Tebbenkamp is a graduate of Medical College of Virginia Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry, one of the best in the country. He has been a dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S. degree.

This was my first visit to Dr Tebbenkamp. I was very pleased with both the Dr and his staff. After having my last dentist for over 30 years, I feel comfortable with having Dr Tebbenkamp as my dentist do the next 30 years!

Was just there for my first time after I had a 'not so great' experience at another local dentist. I just had a regular check up / cleaning, but this was probably the best dentist experience that I've had. Very kind and knowledgeable staff with a great atmosphere and up to date equipment.

I love this dental office. All the employees are so friendly & try their best to make you feel comfortable while you are getting your teeth cleaned or getting a filling. I can't say enough positive things about my experience at this office.

I am gaining more confidence in his abilities as my needs grow. He is good to work with and communicate with. He makes a great effort to explain the situation and what needs to be done. I appreciate this. A little more information concerning how I could improve on brushing and flossing would be helpful.

3-9-22 update: Still going here after seven years. Took a break during covid, but my second time back since then. They are booked 9 months out right now, but when I arrives, got in with no wait, and the cleaning was top notch as usual. Staff is polite and friendly and billed my insurance. Original review: Been going here since I moved into Blacksburg. It's been a few years now. I kinda have bad gums. It's hereditary like my high cholesterol. Had bad gums since I was a kid, even though I brush 2-3 times a day and floss 5/7 days a week. Justin actually convinced me to start going for a 3rd dental checkup/cleaning every year which I pay for out of pocket. I was skeptical at first, but he told me, "If your gonna pay to put all that gold in your mouth, you might as well pay for an extra annual visit to keep it there."

I have been a patient of Dr. Tebbenkamp's for several years and will continue. The front desk staff are helpful and friendly. Rachel (my dental hygienist) is amazing and always remembers personal details about me and my family. Dr. Tebbenkamp is professional and does not recommend procedures that are unnecessary.

Have been a client for a few years now and consistently happy with the service. During check ups I experienced very thorough service from the hygienist and short but friendly interactions with the dentist. When I went in for procedures like filling a cavity, the dentist seemed very emphatic towards nervous patients, and does an amazing job to ensure you don't experience pain or discomfort. Overall a relatively pleasant experience and would recommend.

Dr Tebbenkamp is very nice and has an awesome bedside manner..He actually speaks to you and not at you like alot of other medical personel. I would definitely recommend him.. His office staff is also very personable and I love his office.

The team always makes sure I am comfortable and informed about everything. I am very sensitive and anxiety filled in the dentist's chair, but Dr.Justin and his team go out of their way to make sure I am as comfortable as possible. They offer practical advice for bridge wearers that I will use.
