Ryan Hillam, DDS is an oral surgeon who was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. His father was an orthodontist and encouraged him to explore the field of dentistry. After completing his undergraduate studies, he was accepted in 1996 to Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, NE where he received his dental degree.
He continued his dental education by completing a one-year general dental practice residency at St. Johns Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Hillam went on to practice general dentistry in the town of Champaign, IL. He thoroughly enjoyed general dentistry and the patients he treated. He went on to complete a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Seton Hall University in NJ.
After working as an oral surgeon in private practice for 14 years, he decided to limit his work to wisdom teeth extraction and dental implants, lending his years of expertise and care at an affordable rate.
As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, he has been trained to treat and care for patients who experience problems with wisdom teeth, facial pain, and misaligned jaws. Hes received special skills in treating accident victims suffering facial injuries, offers reconstructive and dental implant surgery, and cares for patients with tumors and cysts of the jaws and functional and esthetic conditions of the hard and soft tissues of the head, mouth, teeth, and gums.
During dental school, Dr. Hillam met his wife. They currently have five children three girls and two boys. Dr. Hillam has lived in four different countries. He enjoys traveling and meeting people from other cultures.
