I grew up here in the Bay Area, attended college at UC Davis, and went on to obtain my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.It was in the city of brotherly love where my passion to work with children was born and I went on to specialize in Pediatric Dentistry at UCLA.
As a board-certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, I am trained to provide your child with truly excellent dental care. As a mother, I am sincerely committed to giving your child the positive experience that I would wish upon my own children.
As a pediatric dentist, it has been his passion to help children cultivate a lifetime of great oral health. This begins by establishing a dental home during your childs first visit. His hope is that Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry is a place that children can feel comfortable and enjoy visiting.
As a native of Fremont and former patient of Just Kids Pediatric Dentistry, I am so excited to now be a part of the JKPD team! I understand the importance of giving your kids the very best and will strive to make each visit a happy, fun, and positive experience.
As a product of the PAC-12, I'm proud to call the Bay Area my home! I grew up in the sunny skies of Queen Creek, Arizona and attended Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University, where I studied Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology.
Weve been thoroughly blessed in my 35 year career in dentistry. Weve been complimented by parents who allow us to share their babies experience with oral health. Weve fondly watched our babies grow up. Were flattered when those babies now bring their babies back to us.
Dr. Janice Hwang is native to the Bay Area. She spent her early childhood and teenage years as a cellist, competing in competitions all over the Bay Area. While she loved her experience as a classical musician, she eventually decided to use the dexterity that she developed for another artformdentistry.

I brought my 2 year old here for his very first dental check up. It was a quick and easy process with cleaning his teeth and the entire staff was very friendly and professional! They also gave him a balloon animal at the end which definitely helped him feel more comfortable :)

This is one in a million dentistry that you will ever go to omgoodness if you want your kids to feel save and comfortable then this is the place to go to get their teeth worked on... thank you so much for the experience!!!! 10/10!!!!

First visit for my 9 year old went well. We were greeted by friendly staff and the office felt comfortable. They had the AC on, as well as air purifiers in each room. Pleasant decor for kids everywhere. Will bring daughter back for followup visit soon. Thanks

The best yet, this was our first time going and of course my toddler was afraid but they made him feel comfortable and safe. They were very professional and nice, I would recommend them 100% and yes we are going back.

Best Children's dental office around! . As a San Leandro Native I can't believe I had never come across this office. Such a great service for my 8 year old. The office itself is very clean and kid friendly (the old school Pac-Man video game was a bonus). From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by Rosy. Quickly we were helped by Lihn who was so helpful, made check in a breezy and was so sweet. My son had his x-rays and cleaning done by Amairani, who eased my sons fear of the dentist. She worked quickly, politely and did great on his dental cleaning. All in all, this is the office you want to bring your children to. The doctor here was very nice and with tons of experience. Thank you all!

My child is very cautious and takes time to warm up to new places and people. However, she had no problem warming up to the staff at Just Kids. They were so kind, encouraging, and patient with her. It was a really good experience. We have found our new pediatric dentist!! Thank you!!

Very friendly and welcoming. From the beginning of the visit to the end. This was my 21 month old daughter's first dental appointment and felt very comfortable and at ease during the whole evaluation. Would definitely recommend!

The staff are very patient with my kids. They did not rush the procedure. My daughter took awhile before we were able to do the xray but they are very supportive that she can do it. Also, I never felt that they are pushy with the treatment. They give you time to think about what you want to do. We feel safe and confident coming here.

My 9yr old dtr and 5 yr old son, loved this place. My dtr said they are so kind and gentle. They are always excited to go back there. I'm so glad we found this clinic. Highly recommended dentists, staff are the best on what they do.
