Dr. Kevin H. Sakai grew up in Stockton, which is in northern California. He has one younger sister, Kimi. His family was always involved in the medical field. His mother is a pharmacist and his father is also a dentist. While growing up in Stockton, Dr. Sakais childhood centered around his involvement with the martial arts. He started karate when he was five, and this continued until college. As a youngster, the Sakai family traveled all over the country for karate tournaments.

After graduating from high school, it was time for Dr. Sakai to leave Stockton. He earned his B.S. at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Growing very accustomed to southern Californias warm weather, he moved across to the other side of the city to attend dental school at the University of Southern California (USC). After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Sakai continued his education at Boston University in the area of pediatric dentistry.

It was in Boston, where Dr. Sakai spent the next two years focusing his training on children. It was here Dr. Sakai learned pediatric dentistry. This includes sedation techniques, behavior techniques as well as training with special needs children. It was here, where he also learned that he loved the RED SOX.

After finishing his schooling in 2004, it was time for Dr. Sakai to put his education to use. At this time, Dr. Sakai decided to relocate to the Seattle area. It was a good thing he did, because that is where he met his wife, Aleiah, and raised their son and daughter.

Dr. Sakai loves to travel with his family. If he is not traveling, he likes spending time with his family, friends, and pets watching movies and cooking together. He enjoys trying new foods and watching his favorite football team the Seahawks. GO Hawks!

Dr. Raymond Park received his bachelor in science from University of Wisconsin Madison. After having a great Midwest college experience, Dr. Park then continued on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious, ivy league Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. It was there that he discovered his passion caring for children while volunteering at Give Kids a Smile and Head Start Daycare Program. It provided a chance for him to interact with children who suffered from poor oral health and allowed him to realize the importance of early oral health intervention. Dr. Park became a true believer in educating families and ensuring children have a positive dental experience throughout their early years and beyond.

Dr. Park pursued and completed an additional two years of Pediatric Dentistry specialty training at the University of Rochester the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, where he treated a wide range of pediatric patients including those that were medically compromised.

In his free time, Dr. Park enjoys going to the Woodland Park Zoo and Seattle Aquarium with his lovely wife and 2 beautiful daughters. He is also avid sports fan of New York Giants and, of course, his alma mater, University of Wisconsin (GO GIANTS and BADGERS!). Dr. Park is also an enthusiastic foodie and would love to know any of your suggestions.

Dr. Misa Yoshioka grew up in the greater Seattle area and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington (Go Huskies!). She headed down to sunny southern California to finish dental school at Western University of Health Sciences, where she graduated at the top of her class. She then completed a masters degree and two years of additional pediatric specialty training at Nationwide Childrens Hospital and the Ohio State University. She most loves helping anxious or apprehensive kids feel more at ease in the dental chair and celebrating with them in their accomplishments.

My child had an AMAZING experience here. Very friendly staff and the dental assistant and doctor were very good at keeping my little one laughing and engaged with the process. Both of us went home happy and excited for his next dentist appointment.

BE VERY AWARE AND ASK QUESTIONS IF THEY WANT TO SUDATE YOUR CHILD. This was our fist visit. Brought my daughter in for a cleaning and check up and found out we needed a "small cavity" which is a shame but she has had a bridge and multiple cavities before I got full custody years ago so we are not new to dental work unfortunately. They wanted to use the liquid drug VERSED (look it up as well as the HULK effect) and nitros which they then hook up heart monitors and FULL RESTRAINTS in which I can't be in the room all because they THINK she's not good in the dentist chair. They never asked they never wanted to pull past records they wanted to just drug her and have me consent because its more convenient for Kevin. After consulting with other professionals, family, family friends and my previous dentist they all said the same thing THEY WOULD NOT GO BACK OR TAKE THEIR KIDS THERE. If you're a parent take this for what you want, you can make your own parental decisions but any dentist that is so quick to push drugs full restraints and me out of the room will never work on my daughter.

I had been at another dentist for years for my girls decided to check out a dentist in a better neighborhood (no homeless sleeping in parking lot) I got there with my two girls and was like oh smaller lobby OK. Then when my girls were called back it was both at the same time. I was also invited back with them. This was awesome because at other place parents were not allowed in the treatment area. The appointments were quick (no wait ling in the lobby an hour before being seen because of over-booking. Other place did that regularly.) The dentist came over within a minute or two of the hygienist finishing up again no waiting. Both girls saw same hygienist and she just swapped the girls out in the chair. Simply Perfect. My girls are happy about this place too.

Nice staff...there wasn't a lot of people in the waiting room, which was nice with having to social distance from others. My daughter was comfortable there as well. The staff was great with the kids!

Recommend 100%!!! I had so much anxiety choosing a new dentist for my kids when we moved, and was even hesitant about this place. But I was extremely satisfied & my expectations were exceeded! Everyone was very friendly, welcoming us upon entering & leaving. The dental staff is patient, kind, gentle and take the time to explain everything to the kids! Even allowing my son to touch & feel the tools prior to using them. The Atmosphere is welcoming, calming and kid friendly! They had a Disney movie playing for the kids to watch, music and even prizes to help with distraction and positive reinforcements. The cleanings & xrays are quick but not rushed. When the Dentist came to take a look, he was also very calm & kind. We then talked about treatment options, still without using frightening words or making a big deal of what needed to be done. He absolutely had my sons best interest in mind. It was very obvious that they understand & respect the fears of children; they do everything they can to keep the kids comfortable, happy and leave with a positive experience! My son loved it & is excited to go back!

My son was very nervous about his appointment and had a lot of questions. The entire staff (reception, hygienist and dentist) were all so nice and accommodating. The facility is nice as well. Would definitely recommend them!

I love this office! The dentist is typically a place where kids dread going to, but the staff made my son feel comfortable and at ease throughout our entire visit! They even gave him a sweet prize at the end for doing so great! Dr. Sakai and Dr. Park are very thorough and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!

We went to a few children's dental offices before finding our way to just for kids. They are always so kind and patient with my daughter and the environment is very calm and relaxing.

This visit was really good. I always make sure we see Kevin Sakai. (I am not discrediting the other providers- It's just nice to see the same one for the more serious stuff) My little has anxiety about the dentist . They listened to me when I scheduled the appointment and made accommodations without judgement. This is the way it should be. I got exactly what I needed for my kid.

We were new patients and felt like a number. The staff didn't bother to learn my kids names, weren't overly friendly and the Dr. (don't even know his name as he didn't introduce himself) spent 30 seconds with my kids on their first visit. The front office staff were rude and more concerned that I was (on time) but NOT early for our first appointment and stated several times that they may not be able to serve me if I didn't hurry up and fill out the paperwork. Which, I may add is just writing their names and birthdates 20 times. Not complicated. I took my children back to Woodinville Pediatric Dentistry which I highly recommend. And they told me that the crowns that were recommended didn't need to be done right away or at all since they are on baby teeth and my daughter is 8.5. They are hoping her teeth will just fall out and they can't see that is infected. They spent over 30 minutes explaining this to me and offering me many options to think about. I would never recommend Just 4 Kids to anyone.
