We generally recommend scheduling a patients first orthodontic check-up by the age of 8. By that time, you can already tell if the mouth will be crowded, if the bite is off or if some habits are causing the teeth to shift out of place. If the problem is seen in its earliest stage, often there is a treatment that can be done to correct the problem or lessen its severity. Many times, we will advise yearly monitoring of the dental development so that the treatment can be started at the best time for the patient.

Dr. Dunn is a Montgomery area native and a graduate of The Montgomery Academy. She entered college at the University of Mississippi in 1980, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology with a double minor in Chemistry and English. In the spring of 1988, Dr. Dunn graduated with honors from theUniversity of Alabama School of Dentistry, receiving her Doctorate of Dental Medicine before continuing her education at the University of Tennessee where she received a Master of Science in Orthodontics.

After Dr. Dunn completed her Southeastern Conference Tour, she returned to Montgomery to open her orthodontic practice in 1990. Since then, she and her husband, John, have been busy with their two daughters, Dawson and Laurel. You may see the girls in the office joining their mom for lunch. If you were to ask Dr. Dunn how she spends her free time, she would tell you she really doesnt have any between her busy practice and her family. If she did, though, shed want to be traveling or reading a great book out in the sunshine.

Dr. Dunn is a member of theAmerican Dental Association,American Association of Orthodontistsand their state components, as well as a member of the Montgomery Junior League and St. Johns Episcopal Church.

Dr. Schreiber, being an Air Force brat, considers the town of Kaiserslautern in Germany as his hometown. When it was time, he returned to the United States to enter the alma mater of his grandparents, Auburn University. After just three years of study, he graduated earning the highest honor designation of Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biomedical science.

In 2001, he entered the School of Dentistry at theUniversity of Alabama, Birminghamand graduated with Honors four years later. In July 2005, he began his Orthodontic Residency, also at UAB, and graduated in 2008 with an Orthodontic Certification and a Master of Science degree in Orthodontics.

Dr. Schreiber brings an energetic dynamic to the practice. That, coupled with his light-hearted manner, certainly makes for an enjoyable visit to the office. He is a true water enthusiast and likes anything to do with the beach, river or lake. He is an avid runner, and he and his wife, Julie, and children, Aidan and Josie, love to travel.

Ashley has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2006. She earned her MBA in Finance in 2013. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spoiling her three dogs! She also is an avid Alabama football fan!

Chloe has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2020. She currently attends Auburn University at Montgomery and is pursuing a degree in Psychology. She loves spending time with her pet pig, Princess. She also enjoys thrift store shopping with her boyfriend.

Christina has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2004. She enjoys CrossFit, Auburn football, going to concerts, and spending time with her husband and son. She is a member of The University Church of Christ.

DeNise has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2001. She is enjoying being a new grandmother, or Gammie as her little one would say. DeNise loves sewing and relaxing with her sweet dog Bubba.

Heather has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2004. She enjoys photography, going to the beach, gardening, Auburn football, traveling, and spending time with her Chocolate Labrador, Molly!

Mandy has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2016. She and her husband just welcomed a beautiful baby girl. They are enjoying being new parents and cuddling with their Chocolate Labrador, Daisy.

Rebecca has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 2015. She enjoys spending time with her husband and kids. They love cheering for Alabama and taking as many trips together as possible.

Tammy has been employed with Just For Grins Orthodontics since 1990. Shes from Arkansas and is an avid Razorback fan! She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her dogs, Blue and Schotzie.
