Dr. Sal Taiym attended high school and college in San Antonio, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in December of 1999. He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree in May of 2004. Dr. Taiym then went on and received 5 months of additional training in Oral Surgery in Newark, New Jersey. In June of 2005 Dr. Taiym started his General Practice Residency at St. Anthony Hospital in Oklahoma City, where he received a certificate of completion in Hospital Dentistry.
Dr. Taiym returned back to Baylor to complete a 2 year post-graduate certificate program in Pediatric Dentistry. The residency consisted of rotations through Childrens Medical Center Dallas, Baylor College of Dentistry and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital.
Dr. Sal Taiym has a passion and love for pediatric dentistry. His key area of focus at Jupiter Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics is the prevention and treatment of Sleep Disordered Breathing in the pediatric patient.
Dr. Taiym has also completed his board certification in Pediatric Dentistry, and is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist. Board certified pediatric dentists, in addition to attending two years of additional training in pediatric dentistry, must also pass a written examination and then an oral examination. They must then maintain an active status in good standing with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sal Taiym calls the Allen, Plano and Mckinney area home. You will often see him walking around the Watters Creek area in Allen with his wife Dr. Elizabeth Kamali and their two beautiful daughters Layla and Elina. He also enjoys the outdoors, reading, and basketball (Go Spurs Go), but dont worry he still loves his Dallas Mavericks.

Were known for giving our patients and parents an exceptional experience. For our patients, we have iPads, Video games and movies above all our dental chairs. For our parents we have a coffee bar, free WiFi and we give you a tour when you come in for the 1st time. Dr. Kamali and Dr. Taiym opened Jupiter Kids Dentistry in 2007 with a shared vision of providing the highest level of pediatric dentistry in a safe, fun, and compassionate environment. In 2015, they introduced orthodontics to their already thriving practice, and Jupiter Kids Dentistry officially became known as Jupiter Kids Dentistry & Orthodontics.

Jupiter Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics has been taking care of my sons dental needs for the last 7 years! We love coming to see Dr. Taiym, Dr. Kamali, and the entire staff. The office is beautiful, clean, and kid friendly! My son loves watching a movie while getting his teeth cleaned, playing on the iPads, and of course getting a prize at the end! We highly recommend Jupiter Kids Dentistry and Orthodontics!

Thank you to Jupiter Kids, they took amazing care of my daughters. The Drs. are so sweet and kind. They explained the treatment in detail and made sure my daughters were comfortable before starting. My children have been coming here for just over a year. I can't explain how happy I am to have found Dr. Kamali. My son used to be so afraid of visiting the dentist, but Dr. Kamali and her team make him feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed. He no longer gets anxiety when it's time for a Dentist's appointment. I highly recommend!

Just took my 2 kids (age 2 and 4) to Jupiter Kids Dentistry. We had a wonderful experience and were very impressed with Dr. Kamali. The kids had a great time, im just happy the practice is so kid friendly, from front end staff to the doctor, we received a warm welcome. A great start to building a routine for the kids and getting them used to good teeth hygiene and cleanings.

If you are looking for a stress free, friendly and inviting dental office for your child or children, please visit Jupiter Kids in Allen. My child has a big smile each time he is done with his visit. I was extremely nervous about my child going to the dentist for the first time in a new city. Jupiter Smiles made the first visit so easy and fun, we decided to make this our official dental office. Here we are almost 8 yrs later. I was nervous again bc elementary braces became necessary, to correct some crooked teeth. Jupiter Smiles walked us through the whole process, provided websites and supporting documentation to help us get the best understanding. We are braces free and loving the work that was done. This dental office is the best!

It's been eight years I use to bring my son and daughter here. Dr. Sal and dr. Kamali are awesome dentist. Actually my son had complicated tooth issues 8 years back, and I was looking for a dentist who really can ease my son's condition. After a long research I able to find Jupitor kind dentistry, and the treatment he had was unbelievable, and my worries were gone about his tooth.The staffs are so friendly. For parents this place is highly recommend.

My kiddo absolutely loves JKD... when we left today he said "Mom, I really love that place... please give them five stars." This is a HUGE thing coming from my somewhat of an introvert 9yo! My two daughters have been going to Jupiter Kids Dentistry since both were around 6 months. Now, at 3 and 4 years old they love going for their 6 month check ups. Dr. Kamali is so knowledgeable and my kids enjoy their visits with her. Highly recommend this practice.
