Dr. Jessica Rhodes became a dentist to help patients improve their smile, confidence and quality of life. She founded Juniper Dental, named for the juniper plant, which is known around the world for its calming characteristics.
She especially loves helping patients who may have anxiety about dental work by talking with them about their treatment options, what to expect and how they can feel most comfortable during their procedures. Dr. Rhodes also works with a trusted network of other providers so she can help patients coordinate all the care that impacts their dental health.
Dr. Rhodes has a doctorate in dental medicine from Southern Illinois University and a bachelors degree in biology from Augustana College. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. She volunteers at Grace Episcopal Church in the South Loop, enjoys exploring the city and completed the 2019 Chicago Triathlon.

Juniper is the absolute best dentist I've ever been to, hands down. It's beautiful. Every single person I've interacted with there has been more than kind, helpful, and really thorough. The dentist is not the most fun place to go, but I promise this place makes the experience as lovely as possible. They even have massage chairs! What?!?! They truly go above and beyond!

This is the best dentist office I've ever been to in Chicago. From Dr. Rhodes, to the dental assistants, to Joey at the front desk, they are all fantastic. Very easy to schedule an appt, the facility is brand new, high tech, and always looks and smells great with scented candles. You know upfront how much a procedure will cost as Joey very clearly explains it with a printout. I'm so glad I found Juniper Dental, I really can't recommend them enough!

Great dentist, friendly and helpful staff, affordable, nice office. I've gotten my general cleaning, as well as a crown and an extraction with her, and I highly recommend. As enjoyable as getting dental work can be ;)

I've been to Juniper a few times now for preventative teeth cleanings, and have had a great experience so far. Their front desk staff is very welcoming, the facilities are beautiful, the equipment seems new and high-end. Dr. Rhoades does a great job at explaining everything in detail and is very gentle when doing the cleaning. I plan to keep going back!

Dr. Rhodes and the entire staff are great. I do not consider going to the dentist one of my favorite things to do, but nothing about going here made me worried or apprehensive. Dr. Rhodes is extremely thorough and informative. I highly, highly recommend coming here, and I'm glad to have a regular dentist moving forward.

I am typically very apprehensive about going to the dentist and Joe the receptionist and Yesenia (sp) were awesome and made me feel very comfortable. The place is immaculate and state of the art told as well as air purifiers etc. My follow up visit was not the same experience. I was told I would receive follow up once they had spoken to my insurance about a procedure and I never received it. Based on the out of pocket expense I was looking at I was able to find a more responsive dentist and have taken my business there
