At first glance, the Jungermann Dental Care office sits nestled into the corner of a little strip mall but very quickly upon approaching you are surely to find that the outside of the building is very well kept, clean and up to date with their office information. As I walked in I was greeted by a kind and friendly young woman behind the front desk...I cannot recall her name, but I believe it was Greggory, or Greg for short. She went out of her way to be kind to me, perhaps the stress of being at a new office was written on my body language. I even noticed and complemented her on how clean and organized the front desk area looked. First impressions are important for me as a new patient. Young Greg walked me through the new patient information, helped me square away a few insurance issues and then had me sit in their lovely waiting room. I was offered a cold bottle of water and awaited the good doctor. To simply add an extra layer of comfort I heard Harry Styles "As It Was" softly playing overhead and it further eased my nerves about being in a waiting room. Once my name was called I soon met Liz, the wonderful young lady who walked me to the back and would be assisting with my treatment. We exchanged some light pleasantries and began the examination. First we took some x-rays of my chompers so we knew what we were dealing with and then we proceeded to the examination room. The office itself was well lit, clean and professional. There were wonderful personal touches that I only caught glimpses of here and there and it was really nice to see that the staff was able to help strike a balance of professionalism with their own unique personal touch. I can only imagine that working in an office where the personalities of the staff can be felt creates and fosters a really warm and welcoming work environment for the employees as much as it did for myself, the patient. We began the examination with Liz taking a few more photos of the tooth in question- again, done very kindly, and gently which helped diminish my sour memories as a kid of dental visits. Once Liz and I had spent a few more minutes engaging in some fun conversation Dr. Choi came in. Dr. Choi took a good look at the problem tooth, quickly looked at the x-rays we had previously taken and referenced a few of Liz's pictures and then was quick and decisive on a plan of action. I am not afraid to say that I had to have the tooth pulled. There were points in my life where I would simply have walked away and chewed with the other side of my mouth...but the trust that I had built with Dr. Choi and his team made me feel confident that Dr. Choi's recommendation was the right way to proceed and we did. The nice young lady from the front desk, again...I believe her name was Greg, came in and ran through the cost, the portion that insurance would be willing to cover, etc, etc and a decision was made. I felt even more confident making that decision because of the way that the procedure was explained to me- nothing was a surprise. I am a fella that likes to know the whys, the how muchs and as many things in between as I can and Greg did a great job. The procedure went great! My age old fears of dying at the dentist did not come to fruition today and I am nearly certain that is because of the training and skill of the staff, such as Liz, employed to complete the procedure. I thank both Liz, and Dr. Choi for making it a smooth and worry free experience. Fast forward to the end of the procedure Liz answered all of my questions that I had regarding the next steps, what the overall process of replacing said removed tooth was and timing on all of it. I am going to try to be back on my game for Thanksgiving!! At this point the office had grown a bit busier but the same level of care, professionalism and organization was still intact even as the patient load got higher. That is something that I can certainly appreciate as well. As I sit here and reminisce about my experience I am grateful to the team and can't help hearing "As It Was" softly in the back of my head.

Up until know we've been happy with their care. They cancelled my daughters appointment this morning 12 minutes before the appointment. She was scheduled for a tooth extraction, and was very nervous but had worked up a lot of courage. She's devastated now that she has to wait. Jungermann canceled because they want her to see a pediatric dentist, which is fine, but they had already scheduled the appointment and consulted with her orthodontist after scheduling this appointment. To then cancel 12 minutes before the appointment and blame it on a clerical error is unprofessional at best.
