Dr. Jessica Blanco is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist whos passion in life is working with children. Dr.Jessy has a very nurturing personality and has the patience and innate ability to create the most comfortable and enjoyable dental experience for your child. Dr. Blanco especially loves taking the time to care for and comfort her patients so that visiting the dentist is a rewarding, informative, and all-around-fun experience. Dr. Blanco prefers to promote preventative dentistry as much as possible. However, where care is needed, she will go the extra mile to make any necessary treatment as comfortable as possible for your child. Dr. Blanco possesses advanced behavior management skills in oral sedation, IV sedation and treatment under general anesthesia. She has extensive experience in emergency management of orofacial trauma and infection as well as in caring for medically compromised children and children with special healthcare needs.Dr. Jessys unmatched love for her profession ensures your kiddo has the best dental care and experience possible.
Dr. Blanco began her collegiate studies in Juneau, Alaska at the University of Alaska Southeast and later Nova Southeastern University in South Florida to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree graduating with honors and distinction of summa cum laude. Dr. Blanco completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine where she was an active member of multiple volunteer organizations focused on providing dental healthcare to populations who have difficulty with access to care. Immediately after, Dr. Blanco was accepted for the highly sought-after Pediatric Dental Residency program at Childrens National Hospital (listed as one of the Nations top 10 Childrens Hospitals) where she received specialized training. During her training in DC, Dr. Blanco enjoyed advocating for Childrens Oral Healthcare policy changes on Capitol Hill. She is passionate about Childrens Oral Health Care and will continue to work with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry in this venture.

Dr. Jessica is such a wonderful person, she will make you smile not only because of her amazing work but because of her personality. The good energy and vibrations contagious you and make you feel good. She is a super good person and above all, she is the best dentist, highly professional, and a hard worker. Also, she has a magic touch with kids. Her work is her priority, and you can tell she enjoys it.

Ketchikan Pediatric Dentistry is the best pediatric dentist we have in Ketchikan! They are patient with all children. They go above and beyond to make sure the child and the parent are comfortable. They ask consent before preforming any procedure. These ladies are amazing! All the ladies are so positive and helpful. My children look up to Dr. Blanco! I can't say enough kind words about Ketchikan Pediatric Dentistry!!

The staff and doctor were absolutely phenomenal with my two year old! This was his first visit and was definitely a positive one. The patients the staff had with him for the moment he walked in to the moment we left was greatly appreciated. Thank you for all you do this is an amazing place to take your children!

Thank you Juneau Pediatrics Dentistry! My son started feeling anxious right away when he was told they needed him to do x-rays. Ms. Darcy kept him calm and helped him take slow deep breaths. I was impressed with her patience and happy my son was able to get his X-rays---it took some time though. In addition to our first visit to this place, I was grateful that the office staff was able to switch around my son's appointment so he could go on a special field trip!! Feeling amazed!
